Quality heater, worth extra cost
Brilliant heater! This was bought as a replacement for larger De’Longhi Dragon heater which was approx 27/28 years old. I was nervous as a fair few reviews mention receiving item with dents, however there was no problem with mine. New heater is approx half the size of previous one which means it is so much lighter & easier to manoeuvre. It heats my conservatory beautifully and the controls are much improved compared to older model. The fact that once desired room temp is reached the dial can be turned until it clicks to enable the heater to maintain the room temperature instead of constantly throwing out heat is a real bonus. No hesitation in recommending. More attractive than open fin models.

Really good.
I’m using this heater in a glass conservatory with a floor space of approximately 24 square metres. Over Christmas 2025, the heater proved to be more than sufficient, allowing us to use the space comfortably throughout the day and into the evening. I now operate it using a smart plug, and it takes around 20 minutes to warm the area effectively. It’s a great little heater — I originally thought I might need two units, but one has been providing ample heat on its own. Very pleased with the performance.

Excellent quality oil filled radiator
I bought a Delonghi Dragon 4 a year ago, so I’ve had nearly 2 winters to try it out. I must say it is an outstanding oil filled radiator. I pop it on medium heat in a 15ft x 10ft room and it heats up within 10 minutes and stays on for 10 hours per day and never had any issues with it. I’ve also used it in a much larger area and it is very effective, reliable and efficient to run too, it hardly affects my electric meter. It’s a good solid radiator, made very well but then it is De’Longhi! I would recommend this radiator.

Excellent Radiators - Incompetent Delivery Chain
I currently own three of these 2kW heaters, which are very stylish and provide excellent heat output, no doubt enhanced by the chimney effect of the panel design. Gone are the days of wobbly-wheeled radiators which used to bend under their own weight; the folding caster wheels on these seem quite sturdy and enable the radiator to be moved across carpeted areas without a problem, albeit slightly hindered by a single handhold. For myself, the mechanical time-switch is a bonus, being simply operated by flicking in or out the quarter-hourly pegs. Its pattern of settings can be easily seen without the need for wading through menus and settings of those radiators having digital settings. Some reviewers, appear to be affected by the smell when hot, which has not been a problem on any of my own, following an initial burn off; the recommendation for doing this is for an initial operation at full heat for 2 hours. These radiators appear to be very quiet in operation, apart from an occasional, yet typical, unobtrusive on-off thermostat, or time-switch click. A useful note for those chasing energy efficiency, is to operate these at the lowest of the three selectable heat output settings which is capable of heating your space to the desired level and to set the thermostat accordingly, in other words do not operate the radiator unnecessarily at the highest heat output, causing frequent on-off cycling. I am of the opinion that the review of an item should provide enough information for prospective purchasers to make an informed decision, and as such it should encompass more than just how the item operates, but also the buying experience itself right through to delivery and customer services should there be a fault. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have noted, both my recent radiators were also received with dented side panels, which in my opinion are the fault of either the manufacturer for not providing suitable packaging with side impact protection, or the mishandling in storage, or mishandling by delivery courier. An additional let down in the buying experience was caused by the delivery chain itself; although sold by Amazon, the radiators were not delivered by their own courier, but by a third party, who managed to leave my radiators outside at an incorrect address, unbeknown to the owner at that location at the time. The third party courier then added insult to injury by claiming that they were handed directly to me and signed by me! I must however complement Amazon Customer Services, for their swift response and offer of two replacement radiators or a refund. This was not taken up as we managed to track down the location of the missing radiators at a nearby property which was being renovated from the photo where the courier had left them!! So summing up, excellent radiators, incompetent delivery chain.

Brilliant!
Like many people I've been working from home for the last few months, and whilst the utility room I set my desk up in was fine in the summer, it became absolutely freezing in the winter. I'd been using a fan heater but it was expensive to run, and more than anything it was noisy, and as I run training courses the constant background noise was a problem. This radiator is an absolute cracker. It arrives fully assembled, so you don't have to attach wheels or anything - just take it out of the box, unfold the wheels (they're hinged and tucked away underneath the unit), plug it in and away you go. It isn't too heavy - about 10 kilos - and is easy to move around thanks to the wheels. As with all heaters there's an initial "new" smell, but this burns off after a while - a label attached to the flex near the plug tells you to turn it to the highest power and leave it on for at least two hours in a ventilated room and the smell will go away. In terms of controls it's simple - the top dial is a thermostat, the second one is a power setting (off, low, medium, high), and below this is a rotary 24hr timer, so you can leave it plugged in all the time if you want and it will come on and turn off when you want it to. The timer can be overridden thanks to a three state switch in the middle of the dial (on, off, timer). In use the majority of the heat comes from the top of the unit, so if you place it under a desk it will be really warm around your legs and feet, but the whole thing gets hot. It also seems cheap to run too - my smart meter remains in the green section while it is running. Also there is absolutely no noise from the radiator at all, but as with "normal" central heating radiators when the unit has been on for a while and you turn it off it does make some click or low clang noises as it cools. In case it helps, the room I use the radiator in is a concrete floored utility room at the side of the house, with no other heating (OK, there's a tiny radiator about the size of an A4 pad at one end), a non-insulated flat roof, and has double glazed windows at either end. The size of the room is approx 14 square metres, with a ceiling height of about 2.5 metres at the highest and 2 metres at the lowest side. If I have the radiator in the middle of the room, on the highest temperature and the highest power, and the doors of the room closed, when I step in the heat hits you. Having the thermostat on about three quarters of the way round and the radiator on medium power is absolutely ideal for the room and makes it comfortable to work in all day.

It is as described by the seller. Its power rates 1700W - 2KW, 220-240V @ 50 Hz. A 50 Hz device works well on a 60 Hz AC source.

Insgesamt daher 5 Sterne.
