The other one along with the Curtiss P6E Hawk and Fokker E111 are on my work bench getting built Dumas is a very addictive kit maker I need to go to rehab soon to kick this habit

I found the instructions very unclear about key points. A few parts were misidentified on the plan. The stringers were of such poor quality that many broke while I was setting them in place or while (very carefully) handling the assembled subcomponents. Due in part to this being a small airplane and my having large hands I had to do some serious finger acrobatics to get everything into place, even with tweezers. Certainly not a kit for someone without abundant experience and model building skills. Frustrating to work on. I did not have fun.

Great model and great price, plus fast shipping. Interesting enough for experienced builder but simple enough for those learning.

The pieces break very easily. We are afraid to throw it in the air because after all the hard work we put into building it, its will probably break into a million pieces.

Skip the critical reviews of this model. Although, I bought it elsewhere, I used most of the supplied materials and took my time to fit things. This is not a model for kids! It requires patience especially in fitting the wings so that they have wash out in all 4 tips. Steam them after they are built to get that. I fly it on 2 loops of 3/32" rubber 2 1/2 x's the length of the fuse. My time in the air? Easily 1.5 min. and more. Its going on 6 yrs. of flying!

The model was a lot smaller than I thought and the parts were super delicate, broke very easily. Not a model for beginners.

This is an excellent kit. Unlike the Guillows stick & tissue models you may have seen in your hobby store, this one contains very high quality balsa, and all the parts are cut exactly right. The instructions were pretty easy to follow (for anyone who has built a kit like this before). I would recommend this kit for someone who has built one or two less complicated kits.
