how much water do you need to add to these?

Very little if you want a thick coat, just wet the make up brush and work it into a cream consistency. If you want a thinner coat, add more water. This is a great product so it’s very easy to use and achieve your desired effect.

How much use can you get out of the 18.8g container? I need to paint my face a couple of times at a minimum.

Hi This shouldn't be a problem. Snazaroo reckon you can get 30 "paints" out of one pot. Personally, I think it's less than that, but certainly enough to give you all over coverage (including a shaven head if necessary) at least five or six times.

What can you use underneath to minimise staining on the skin? I have the green and it does stain the skin unfortunately

We recommend continuing to use warm water and soap or baby wipes but if the skin becomes irritated from scrubbing we suggest leaving it for a while before trying again. We recommend that when you use face paints again, you try putting a layer of white as a base that should stop any staining.

Would it be suitable for covering hands? Or will it rub off on everything I touch? Thanks.
