I first bought an electric knife for fresh sourdough bread and it was totally useless so got footed that straight back to Argos! Then was told about 5starmoin bread saw and it’s a thing of beauty. Well crafted and best of all I don’t have to wrestle with fresh sourdough any more and get a decent straight slice rather than unruly cut slice 😂 so perfect for me 😍

Very nice product, nice presentation/storage box. I have yet to try it until tomorrow morning’s loaf from the bread maker is ready.Mention is made of a supplied screwdriver to tighten the blade holding screws. Definitely not there, but I have lots of screwdrivers, so not a problem at all. Docked one star for inaccuracy.

Not sharp, bow knife so doesn't cut well and is no better than a normal bread knife. It bends and is hard to cut as its blunt.

Easiest way to slice homemade sourdough bread.

Great for large sourdoughs. Depending on the shape or scoring pattern of the loaf, it can sometimes it take a little bit of concentration to get the slice started but once in groove it is very good. Never need to compress the loaf which used to happen with my standard bread knife.

Overall the breadknife is ok, however, I would have expected the blade to have LESS give in it, it isn't much of an improvement over my traditional breadknife.
