Commercial Real Estate for Beginners: The Basics of Commercial Real Estate Investing

Thank you Pete for sharing your insight and understanding on commercial real estate investing. I had no clue on the subject and didn't even know where start. You are a very wise and knowledgeable individual. I love the examples and the way you teach. I look forward to learning more from you in the near future.

The book itself is very good but you cant download it on kindle unless you have kindle unlimited which seems dumb to me. Im thinking of selling some single family rentals and buying an apartment building like Peter Harris did. Id have paid 2 or 3 dollars to download it.

If you know nothing about commercial real estate, this is the book to get. Like many other real estate books I've read, this one does have an element of "rah-rah, go invest!" which is fine. It also links to his online consultancy site, also fine. What I really liked was the simple explanations of terms and their uses for beginners. He caps it off with three example real estate offers and applies the investing principles learned in this book. It is certainly not comprehensive, but it does what it says, it teaches "Commercial Real Estate... FOR BEGINNERS!"

The book or booklet that teaches about CRE in its full capacity, it is a bang on ticket if you obey and willing to be teachable, to become a good student. It is a good teaching experience and opportunity to change lives. And a good gift for generations to come. I do recommend it.

For such a small book, it has big concepts with easy to follow instructions. You will learn the language of investors, how to quickly determine value of properties and have much more confidence in the value you bring to your clients.

After watching the ads on FB and YT by Peter I decided to look this up and buy it. Now I’ve read other real estate books but this one was confusing how it’s written. It’s just saying stuff and I don’t know what the connection the writer is trying to make or what’s happening. Just saying stuff I’m not really getting. Some stuff was useful and I’ve highlighted what made sense to me that I can reference in the future to pursue this if I wanted to. I’ll have to reread this again in the future but for now 3 stars. I think it’s too short. You can read this in like 3 hours if you’re a steady reader. And the price was good based on the size of the book. If I find value in reading it again I’ll change my rating.
