I love these beans..... I can't get enough of them. I have ordered multiple times now and will continue to do so.

Delicious
Only opened one flavour so far, but it's nice, and the consistency is very supple, it does not feel "pickled" at all, which is lovely.

Slimy and chemical
This product is inedible. It is not a replacement for a crunchy snack in any way shape or form. I cannot imagine someone eating it on its own as it is sold. It is slimey in texture and the flavours are really strong to overcome the awful texture. I wish I hadn’t opened it so I could return.

Tastes off and was sold to me after it’s sell by date l!
£19 for four bags of bean snack is crazy but my husband and I thought we’d give it a go. The first bag smelled off and tasted really bad but I thought it was just me. Opened the second pack and still smelled suspicious, they packaged stated that best sell by date was late July!!! Definitely going to return this and file a complaint.

I’m always on the hunt for high protein foods that aren’t extremely high in calories, bonus points if there’s added fiber and this hits both. They’re also shelf stable, which is a bonus for keeping in my car for long trips or if I were to get stranded in bad weather. The salt and vinegar flavor isn’t extremely strong, I was expecting more of a salt and vinegar chip and it’s milder than that, but not necessarily in a bad way. I also didn’t read the item description, so I was expecting more of a dried bean situation like roasted chickpeas or dried edamame (very crunchy). However, these are a little moist, but I’m not opposed to that. It was just unexpected. They do have a bit of a bite to them and texture wise I would describe it most like eating steamed edamame so if you don’t like that texture, you likely won’t like these. I’m all around pretty though and currently eating them straight out of the bag. I will probably purchase again.

I’m not sure what I was expecting exactly but what I received was a bit of a surprise. I had never had any of these beans before, so that may be why I wasn’t expecting this. My husband refuses to eat them, I however oddly don’t mind them. I do enjoy the flavors and you get quite a few beans in a pack. You do not get very many packs for the price though, but I’m overlooking that really as this is a unique treat. At least for me. If you’ve never had these before I would describe them as a wet pickled bean. They have a skin coat that you eat that falls off while you are chewing them. They are firm. I think what surprised me the most was that they were wet. Now that I’m used to them, I don’t mind it.

My vegan cousin turned me onto these Lupini beans. We are of Italian descent and she remembers our grandfather eating lupini beans by the handful. I am on a low carb diet, I have been for years and years, so I was super excited to hear about this snack from her. I immediately ordered them and got within two days. I will say that they are tasty, especially the rosemary & garlic. Also, they are so easy to eat the entire package. Luckily they have zero net carbs, lots of protein, and of course it is an added benefit that they are plant-based. The only downside for me is they are a bit slimy. The item is exactly as advertised, so there is no ding in the description of the product. It is just, I have to kind of gear myself up to eat them because they are a bit slimy. Actually they are not slimy, they are just moist, if that makes sense. Two thumbs up to the company that makes this product, as it is a small family business, and I love to support that. Although, the price point is a bit high, but honestly, I am only buying them for myself, and when you give up so much to be on a low carb diet, I feel a bit entitled to splurge a little and get this product. All and all, I would recommend. I just do not know if I could eat them everyday!

I was one of those people who go all day not eating, with just coffee in morning and maybe a low carb drink to take with medications to protect from stomach upset. then I would eat a large somewhat healthy but high carb dinner. I know, I know not really a healthy way to eat. Sounds like I would loose some weight right? I would, but alas No, because I am also one of those people (especially because of covid) that binge snack all night long while watching TV with my husband. So Since I found these great BRAMI beans ,I am in snack bing heaven. I wasn't sure if I would like them, and luckily I do! I even made up my own flavor with the plain beans. I am a big fan of Asia foods. So, I thought lets try adding soy sauce to the plain package, and wow! I loved it. Just put BRAMI beans in a bowl ,add soy sauce or add straight in the bag. I am glad I found these beans. And along with other low carb products I researched, My weight is coming off . I may not be able to control my binge eating on my own, but I did figured out a way to change my binge snacking on pop corn and other high carb snacks, into healthy snacks, with BRAMI carb free Lupini beans, especially. Hurray!!

I've been eating lupini beans for ~50 years. Since lots of people here seem to lack context: o They are the seeds of the Lupine flower o For eating they are cooked and pickled in brine; traditional packaging is a glass jar of brine o Thus, yes, they're wet, just like any other pickled food. Which people aren't used to in a snack packed in a resealable plastic bag, but yes folks, they're exactly how they're supposed to be. o No you don't generally eat the seed coat; if you do it likely will come out largely intact. I place each between my incisors and shift my mandible to one side a bit; this neatly splits the seed coat which can be spit or taken out. o The shelf-stable and non-fragile packaging has a lot of potential for taking with me when I travel, since planes, hotels, and caterers often offer only meat. I do wish that it were recyclable, instead of a composite of aluminum and plastic. For this product specifically: I have never previously encountered these spiced with anything but salt. So far I've tried the lime and chili flavors. The added flavors are not super strong, but they're an interesting spin on a traditional food.
