Musiclily 8 Hole Humbucker Tele Pickguard HH Scratch Plate for Fender USA/Mexican Standard Telecaster Modern Style Electric Guitar,3Ply Black

Musiclily pickguard in vintage white I replaced the standard white pick guard on my Squier Affinity Tele with this vintage white version to match the cream coloured binding on this guitar. It looks superb over the flame red finish. I'm not a luthier but it's really easy to do. Just remove the 8 holding screws on the original one. Then loosen off all the strings enough to get the pick guard plus pick up out as one unit. Undo the two pick up screws and carefully remove the pick up from the fitted pickguard. Then refit the pick up in the musiclily pick guard. The holes line up exactly. Do the height adjustment later. Fit the Musiclily pickguard containing the refitted pick up on to your guitar. Again, the holes line up exactly. To fit it, you'll have to carefully slide it under the previously loosened strings. I used the original screws but there are a set of new ones with the new one if you wish to use these. The Musiclily one comes with a film covering which I left on mine, but this procedure, like the screws is personal preference. Once fitted, do the pick up height adjustment, tension the strings and wind them to a suitable tension to tune up. Doing this first time, as an amateur took me about 40 minutes. This pick guard fits around the humbucker, bridge and control panel perfectly. It slots under the neck perfectly and tightens up perfectly flat. It cost less than a tenner. All the holes line up perfectly. The sales details go on about fitting Fender Telecasters but they fit Squier teles too as I found out. I've since refitted Musiclily pickguards on some of my other teles, particularly the tortoishell version. These look great matching up to Olympic White and Butterscotch blonde. Musiclily pickguards are way cheaper than the famous branded versions. They are brilliant. They cone nicely packaged in a robust plastic envelope stapled with the Musiclily cardboard flap. Always included is a new set of screws. Delivery from memory, Three days max. I absolutely recommend these. Phil. A 69 year old guitar fanatic. Belper. Derbyshire.

Perfect fit for my squire telecaster custom vibe sh. All holes matched up so no drilling. Excellent quality.

Bought to switch out the one that came with my fender Mexican blacktop telecaster. None of the pickguards I’ve ordered seem to match up with the original one so I had a feeling a bit of work might be needed when I made the purchase which was okay with me. Doesn’t look cheap or anything and delivery was much quicker than stated. Would have given it five stars if it came with screws.

Telecaster humbucker pick guard fits perfectly on my Squier Telecaster and comes well protected with two layers of protective film.

I like Musiclily stuff, decent quality for the price point and good value. Hard to find a scratch plate pre cut for a humbucker pickup. I like the white Pearloid look and there was two layers of protective film so if it looks a bit dull to you then look closer to see if there is another layer of film.

Fits nicely looks great

Item arrived nicely packed but the scratch plate is for the older style tele, not the latest mexican made units with double (chrome & Black) humbuckers. Being that the rectangular pickup hole was too small I was able to carefully open out the rectangle and the bridge slot to suit my guitar and the unit now fits. So with a little fettling time this item will fit and is also reasonable quality at a very good price.

Ich habe das Pickguard für den Umbau meiner seminakustischen Thinline-Tele gekauft. Das weiß ist sehr schön strahlend und die Marmorierung gleichmäßig. Die Löcher passen perfekt auf den Vorhandenen und das Material lässt sich sehr gut sägen und schleifen (siehe Foto). Die einzelnen Schichten ziehen sich gleichmäßig durch das Material und die Verarbeitung ist für diesen Preis sehr gut.

Passt einwandfrei auf meine Telekopie. Naja was soll man sonst noch über ein Pickguard schreiben? Ist halt eine Plastikplatte mit Humbuckerloch :-) passt (minimal musste ich in der Halstasche was nacharbeiten und natürlich die Löcher neu setzen ) sieht gut aus und war schnell hier. Alles einwandfrei

Player II Telecaster HH の交換用に購入。 ネジ穴位置の調整なしに取り付けられました。 ※SquierやMIJはネジ位置が違う可能性があります。 当方はブリッジピックアップをエスカッションなしでボディ直付けしているので問題ありませんが、エスカッション付きのままで取り付ける場合はピックガードを若干切り詰める必要があります。

Very fast delivered and the plates itself look quite good. doesn't fit with mine shamefully. Weirdly it's not the humbuckers, but really the start of the neck is in the way. So useless for me I'm afraid.
