This product is way too poorly made/weak to be used with furniture. Was doing some upholstery and ordered these to add some panache. But they bent easily when I tried to use a rubber mallet to bang them in. Needed to finish the project so ended up having to drill small holes in order to get them in...NOT ideal, that's for sure. The pin underneath has about the same strength as a thumb tack. Pretty expensive thumbtack but that's about all they're good for...

They're very sturdy so the nail itself doesn't bend easily. I would recommend putting the 1" nail heads with some space in between, I used 1" between (see photo.) If you take your time, measure and space well, you'll get a wonderful result. I'm pleased with the product and it's results!

Used these for headboard I made to cover screws. They went in to wood perfect. Loved the finished look. Definitely recommend.

These tacks are beautiful and in a upholstery these are just exciting to use with a very cool look!

I used these in my cedar shutters I made. I really like them! They remind me of a huge tack but way more style. In cedar wood I had to tap them in slow otherwise the pin would bend other then that I really like them!

Not just for Upholstry. I used it for an accent for a barn door. Needed it black so I spray painted them and then nailed them in carefully so the nail wouldnt bend on me

I used them to spruce up plain bifold doors, and they look great. gave my doors the mix of weight, age and elegance I was looking for, and all for a really good price.
