Within a few minutes one of the stabilizers on the legs broke off, but I needed it to come off anyway so it would fit in my fire pit. It will bend and lean a bit, but not bad enough to where I think it’s dangerous to use. I’d say the quality is proportionate to the price you pay. The motor works great! I’ve used it twice on the same batteries (total of 8+ hours). It took some getting used to, but I’m overall very happy with it. No issues with melting of paint or or warping.

It was very easy to put together. It works great with my fire pit. Allows you to enjoy your fire pit and do some great cooking over an open fire. The rotisserie for being battery powered runs great even when my chicken was unbalanced when mounted. It has plenty of room for cooking multi items and very easy to change height.

Please read the reviews. This is a lousy product. Very loose and rickety. The rod slides out and rotation stops. It rocks and the motor did not turn a 20lb loin consistently even after changing weight distribution two times. Piece of junk!!!

This is a neat rotisserie, and grill. It's not very sturdy, talking about, swaying from side to side. The assembling directions for the brackets, the pictures are inverted. Otherwise, simple to assemble. Not wide enough at the base, to fit around a National Park fire pit. Had to pull off the plastic end caps, and set the rotisserie on top of park grate. Works great! I made two mistakes, one; should used twine to secure the spiral cut ham. Two; Used the fire to cremate clean the grill. That ate the paint off. I suppose the positive view is, I won't be eating any paint chips. For a really good smoke, use wood chips, and soak them. Wet chips are much more smokey. The ham was amazing, the buffalo steaks were great, and the barbeque chicken, was off the hook.

Works great for open flame rotisserie! I have used a similar design for several years with no problems other than losing some parts due to my own stupidity!

This tool can be a bit tricky to set up, it’s easy to guess wrong, even with the instructions. Overall I’m happy with the performance of the spit and motor. I’ve used it on two camping trips to date. It has turned a 6lbs bird for 2-3 hours, no problem, without having to replace the batteries. Just make sure you balance the meat on the spit or you’ll get some weird little pauses in the rotation. My gripe with this is, the support foot fell off the mounting hardware (broken weld) on this thing’s second use. It still functions, but we now have to weigh the second leg to keep it balanced.

Live this grill. A bag would be helpful for it, but otherwise really nice and easy to set up.

Rotisserie works well - needs to be a longer rod and wider cooking rack to allow for campfire pits - turns at a nice speed - pretty quiet- unit just needs to be wider/longer
