This is the best purchase I have made. I am a writer and am using it to type my first novel. It was so beautifully packed with layers and layers of bubble wrap, which I rolled and kept, then the key pad had a fine polythene layer and tape on the handles and lock. And the red and black ink ribbon is a real treat to use. Once unwrapped, I placed it on the clean table cloth and began to type. The moment it tapped, the familiar sound I had not heard came alive and took my back in time to when these were popular. It has brought back the fun in typing. I have fallen in love with it and so happy I purchased this rare classic machine. Thank you so much, Amazon!

On arrival it looked like a typewriter but not fit for purpose. Stiff…..and I mean stiff…. keyboard. Two hands required to employ caps….just not fit for purpose. Not worth £20, never mind almost £200!!!! Fuming I’ve been taken in by a Chinese company once again. Awaiting my refund but not holding my breath. Seriously, have nothing to do with this company. You WILL be ripped off. 😤😤

When my grandad tried to use it, he said it didn't work. But he lost all of the details and binned everything etc so he cannot send it back. Just thought I'd put a review showing our experience!

Couldn't be any happier if I tried, I brought a chums one a few weeks ago that didn't work, so this is great, its older and beautiful, It's gonna get used for all if not most of my writing projects, made my day so Thank you x
