Yes and no. There are some pieces that are not marked in any way for you to differentiate however I personally feel like it's not a big deal if you do mix those pieces up. However the important pieces that is does effect game play has enough detail on the tokens that it won't matter if you can see the colors.

Q: Does the game come with instruction manuals (both for the base game and expansions)? One of the reviews mentioned it didn't come with them

Yes the Mega Box has all the rules for base and all expansions. The best deal saved about $35. The only thing that would keep me from buying the Mega Box over purchasing the base game and the two expansions separately is the Mega Box comes in a really big box. If you get them individually you can probably fit the base and all expansions in one smaller box.

Yes, it includes a 5th player expansion!
