Last year, I helped my parents scan and digitize ALL their old film slides - they had hundreds and hundreds! After getting prints made, the next step was deciding how to organize and store that many prints. This plastic box was the perfect answer (we bought 2)! I love that the plastic is clear so we can easily and quickly view contents. I love that there are all the individual containers within because this allowed me to group my parents' slides/photos by year and/or occasion. I was even able to type tiny labels that I taped on top of each individual holder to help identify contents, and with the clear plastic, the labels can be easily seen even with the main lid closed. One potential downside - the plastic is a little flimsy. So I could see this product easily cracking or the hinges or snap closures easily breaking if not handled gently (or if dropped or if heavy items are stored atop it). If you take good care of it and treat it gently, or if it's photo storage you don't need to open and use very often (more for archiving like in my parents' case), it shouldn't be a problem. This wouldn't be good storage for traveling with or for hard/frequent use. For extra protection, my parents' 2 cases are stored in the perfect-fitting cardboard boxes in which they originally arrived. For the price and for my parents' purpose, this case is ideal!

This is perfect for holding my leftover scrapbook photos. Perfect to protect them and has a nice thickness to it to keep them safe. Seems pretty sturdy and a great price too.

Updated edited review: I would like to begin by saying that Lifewit recently reached out to me regarding issues I was having with their photo storage boxes product. Over the course of several days, their team was diligent in their communication, quickly addressing my concerns and arranging for a replacement. The new item was quickly sent out to me and I'm happy to say it works much better than the product I received. I am now able to safely store my craft stickers without the fear of the clasps opening and having them spill out. I am truly impressed by Lifewit's dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction and highly commend their efforts. Original review: I am very disappointed with the Lifewit Photo Storage Boxes. The clasps consistently fail to snap shut and stay closed making them ineffective and non-functional. The clasps also have a tendency to come open on their own causing my lightweight journal stickers to often spill out. This issue is not only frustrating, but it also defeats the purpose of using the storage box in the first place. I do not recommend this product to anyone due to its faulty design and inability to reliably hold its contents.

I have been working for over 2 years to downsize my "stuff" to fit in my new downsized living space. (I went from a 1700+ square ft home to a less than 800 square foot apartment.) One of the last steps of this was my photo albums. I have been keeping my albums in storage totes. But I bought 3 of these storage containers and removed all the photos from the bulky albums and put them in these. These slide under my bed perfectly. I was able to use the labels that come with them to label each individual container. I bought two of the 18 case containers and this 20 case container. Each of the individual cases holds about 100 photos. So, that was two with 1800 photos and then this one with 2000 photos. And they all fit perfectly. The amount of space I have saved without having to sacrifice my hard copy photos from precious life events has been amazing! I know some people say, why not go digital... but I just am not there yet. And honestly I may never be... and these containers allow me to keep them safe while minimalizing the space they may take up. Which I absolutely love. Truth be told I will probably always print photos...and when I need the next container to store those... this will be a repeat purchase. Would buy again for sure!! The containers is sturdy. The handle is perfect for carrying the container. The little containers inside are the perfect size for 4x6 or smaller. And the labels were an added bonus that came in handy!! If you need storage for photos or recipe cards, or anything 4x6 or smaller...these work great!

An excellent way to keep your photos organized. The photos fit perfectly into the smaller boxes and the latches are easy to use and seem to be of good quality. It’s also easy to store, and organized so that it is very functional. Totally worth the money!
