Piacevole scoperta
Per ora decisamente funzionale. Diagnostica abbastanza completa. Service BMW azzerato con successo. Insomma direi che a livello professionale è uno strumento fruibile che può aiutare moltissimo. Vale assolutamente il prezzo pagato. Aggiungerei anche che è molto ben costruito e maneggiandolo trasmette qualità.

Quality equipment. Appears built to last. Setup and updating was straight forward and it works great. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase.

SCANNER IS JUNK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!! STAY AWAY, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!
Worst service I have ever had with a product and the company. Before I purchased the product, I contact Amazon, was unable to help at all. Then I asked the infamous Rufus, he stated that it would work. I figure ok , it even says it in the description that it works with Triumph motorcycles. I get the product and put in the information, personal information an email for recovery of password. Setup a name and password. Not once but several times to no avail. It didn't recognize ever. Ok, give the benefit of the doubt. So seeing how useless Amazon is I google searched the company. There is one located in Illinois, at least I thought it was. I left my Information and contact number. They do call me, very helpful. But she said they a Law firm and they get a lot of calls for Ancel, but they have no affilation with them. So now I have to take time to find out again how to get a hold of the company. They are in China and send an email and they will get back to me! Several emails go back and forth and not in a timely manor. Useless emails, I make them aware of the issues. Their response is to take a picture of the serial number on the unit and where I purchased it. I satisfied everything that was asked. Again to no avail. Then out of clear I get an email stating that this isn't for Triumph from Perm the rep who was emailing me. I then get a email from Vivan stating it does work with Triumph and I have to update software. I asked for a replacement. Her response never addressing my concerns, but to download software and there is no record of the unit. I put my information (personal information) in again. Needless to say , the keyboard to the unit doesn't work correctly if at all( the build quality is the worst). The value for the money isn't worth the time or the effort. The time and aggravation is not worth it. The Scanner is Junk and the Customer Service is the worst. Sending several emails not know what to say or repeating what they have said. I'm better off going to the dealer. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!!!

Necessary evil for DIY repairs
I spent the better part of 2 weeks researching scan tools for my needs. I have a 2018 Triumph Bobber, a 2019 Kawasaki Versys, a 2007 Yamaha FJR and a 2021 Kawasaki KLX at the moment and am looking to buy a BMW in the not to distant future. My father has a Suzuki V-Strom and a Kawasaki KLR and is also looking at buying a BMW, so when shopping, I wanted to cover the bulk of my bases with a single machine. Upon opening the box and turning it on, I found that it had no information loaded. You have to tap the "Upgrade" button to download the software you need. To do this you have to attach it to your Wi-Fi first, which is fairly simple if you've ever used a cell phone or gotten a new computer. I opted to download everything that was available but you can just load your bikes brand and skip everything else if you choose to. I also fix the time on the scanner since it was set for China or something (this is important later). My biggest need at this time is to reset the oil service reminder on my Triumph. The interface is fairly straight forward and simple to use and I didn't end up reading the instructions because I've used all sorts of scanners over the years working in the automotive industry. There are some quirks to using this scanner over others that I've used in the past, mainly how you access functions you want. It offers quick links as well as a diagnostic option. The quick links are just that, quick links. They only offer features for ABS brake bleading and TPS systems, not what I expected for quick links. You have to get into the diagnostic side to find oil service resets and such. Unlike some of my higher end scanners, you actually have to be plugged into your bike to see if it offers the function that you need, in my case oil service reset. I tried to see if it was an option before I changed my oil (since I live in Wyoming and it is still snowing intermittently) since the day I received the tool it was snowing off and on and I could play with the scanner from the warmth of my couch. Sadly, it needs to communicate with the bike to show the PID's it capable of working with. Once I got a chance to plug it into my bike, I found that it does have the oil service reset option but is buried behind a whole lot of warnings and even requires you to type in a password (which is 123) before showing the options for resetting. I was able to reset the date for my oil change, although I wish it would have shown me what the original date was too. When I attempted to reset the miles for my next service, to 6,000 miles for my current point, it gave me a warning about needing to be connected to my bike and kept backing me out of the program (so I'm not sure if the milage got updated). It also has some features to relearn throttle position and a few other things I didn't need at this time. One of the settings it had was a "Time" feature, when I hit that, it offered to correct the time of my clock on the "dash" of my bike. This uses the scanners clock to set and had I not corrected the time when I was playing with it earlier, it may have updated the wrong time. At the time I purchased, they were offering a free carry case or battery tester. Since I already have several battery testers, I opted for the case. It was super disappointing to get the case and find out the scan tool does not fit into it on top of being way to small to also put all the adapters it comes with into the case. This was such a let down but free is free I guess. The cardboard box it comes with packs everything nicely in a fairly small footprint so that is where it will have to stay for now. If you are an avid DIYer this is a must have for modern bikes and I really wish I would have had it to assist in bleeding the brakes when I installed new ape hanger handlebars and had to extend the brake line. It is a little bit on the expensive side but if you do your own work or have multiple bikes it will eventually pay for itself in the long run.

Sign in issues
I registered the scanner and when I went to log in it tells me user name/password is incorrect. Tried resetting password and says email not found. The only way to contact the company is through chat on Ancel website. I sent a message and tells me to contact seller. I feel like I'm going around in circles and cant get any help. There is no phone number to call to talk to someone. I guess the scanner will have to be returned if I cant get any help from customer supprt.
