Universal Pairing USB Receiver Replacement for Dell Wireless Keyboard Mouse KM714 KM717

I never knew there was such a thing as a universal pairing USB for my keyboard and mouse. I have thrown away countless keyboards when I lost the USB for it. I finally had a Keyboard and mouse that I purchased and never used. It cost more than the others, so I was reluctant to through it out. A search revealed my ignorance. Make sure you are purchasing the keyboard and mouse with the connecting oval rings. If you find yourself losing the USB port for some reason, you can purchase the universal port for as little as $12. I did have to search the drivers on Dell, but once I did, the install went without a hitch. I am so pleased with the product.

Original order placed with indication of delivery next day and it arrived 3 days later. Product works well and fairly easy to install.

Double checked that this would work on my keyboard before ordering I have a WK717 keyboard (item description said it would work "Fitment: Fit for Dell keyboard and mouse KM714 KM717 WK717 KM636 WM514 WM326 WM126 WM527 (Your keyboard or mouse must have the DELL blue double ring logo printed on it)."). Tried to get this working on 2 different computers; windows would sometimes recognize the device, but most of the time not recognize it or drop. I downloaded the Dell software to pair this to the keyboard; it never worked. Compete junk don't waste your money.
