The action and sharpness seem to hold up to use

I bought these for myself (not a hairdresser) to cut my hair when needed. They cut well, but they are heavy and don't stay closed/will swing open if you don't have both fingers in them to anchor them. I've never had a pair before that was this loose before, but that may not be unusual to others. I'm ok with the purchase but I wish I could have found a similar pair to what I had before. These are on the "heavy" side, so I don't know that they would be great for extended use.

I got these thinning scissors to help cut my husband’s thick hair, and honestly, they work really well. His hair is super heavy and I was worried regular scissors would just make a mess, but these glide through it and thin it out without pulling or getting stuck. They’re lightweight and comfortable to hold, so even after cutting for a while, my hand didn’t feel tired. The blades are sharp and smooth, and it’s easy to control how much hair you’re taking off without going overboard. I also like that they came in a nice little gift box — not necessary, but a cute bonus. If you’re cutting thick hair at home like I am, these make it way easier (and way less stressful). Definitely glad I grabbed them!

For the last few years my boyfriend has been coming to me whenever he needs a bit of cleaning up in between haircuts. I never owned a pair of haircutting scissors but decided it was about time that I get some. I purchased these because I saw the ergonomic handle on this and thought it might be nice to try--- I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this scissors cuts-- it cuts hair so nicely and easily that I am kicking myself for not purchasing it sooner. These scissors feel so comfortable to hold. The handle just fits your hands nicely and since the weight of the scissor is distributed differently from regular scissors, your hand does not fatigue as much when you have to raise it for long periods of time. The black color is very sleek and looks good. The actual cutting of the scissors is super smooth and not a lot of resistance. It's pretty great and hard to explain unless you've tried it. This scissor also worked with cutting very fine hair which I noticed is hard to do. There was a mat in my long-haired cat's fur and it cut it with ease. I'm very impressed.
