I bought two of these curtains. One was to separate my kitchen from the living area which had an open archway. The other was to separate the kitchen from the hall which had a door frame, but no door. Fitting was easy as I had the help of my (tall) son who could reach the high parts easily.The archway one was a perfect fit (more by luck than judgement) and works extremely well - the velcro adhesive tape stuck unexpectedly well to the Artex wall and if I have to buy new velcro tape each winter to fix it up again, well, that's no problem at all. I did use a few of the pins as a backup, so that might have helped too. In fact, this curtain works so well that the different air pressures (cold air is greater pressure than warm air) causes the curtain to push in towards the living room which does create small gaps in the magnet fastenings (see photo). Despite this, the difference in the temperature when walking through is amazing. I wish I had known about these curtains before now!The one to the hallway doesn't look quite so good, but that is due to the design of my kitchen and door. There is a window above my door which means the curtain isn't long enough to cover the window and door but is too long for just the doorway itself. I got around this by taping a hem at the bottom of the curtain (using super-sticky Gorilla tape) and just living with the opening gap not being quite central. The magnets on this door align perfectly and don't leave any gaps at all, possibly because my kitchen and the hall are equally cold! I think long-term I will get a proper windowed door for this opening, but for now, the curtain is much, much better than nothing at all.Overall, I would highly recommend this product for a cheap and easy way to help keep the warmth in a room.

I was a little dubious when reading the reviews but needed a way to leave my door open to the garden for my pets without loosing all the heat out the open door.After reading the reviews I decided it was worth the risk. Super easy to install. The velcro is a good thickness and supports the weight easily.Once installed I was shocked how much of a difference it made. Not only does it stop any draft, I does keep the heat in and the cold out.Needless to say my pets love the easy garden access. Because it's clear I can easily see them without having to open the curtain.Super easy to walk through, even with dustbin bags. The magnets work brilliantly to keep it closed when nothing is blocking it.The other, great advantage will be Jin the summer when it keeps both the heat and insects out. That is on the few warm days we may get in the UK.

It has a decent effect, it's not perfect but that's probably the way we have it up. Can definitely feel a difference when walking through it. My only issue is the adhesive that's on the velcro just won't stay on the walls. The pins that come with it aren't a massive help either so we opted for drawing pins through the velcro and then the sheet attached to that which works enough for us

Easy to install, adheres to surfaces even though mine are painted and not great, stops all drafts. I can be quite rough with it as going in and out of back door with dog and sometimes i just pull the door part down for easy access and it never fails or bring down the frame that's stuck to the wall. keeps the kitchen alot warmer and in turn the house alot warmer.Because Ive had to have it so close to my back door I do have to pull it down to use properly as my door opens inwards but its still up and it works a treat as landlord wouldnt be replacing doors

The product arrived quickly and seems like good quality, substantial plastic and black velcro.I cleaned and dried the door inner recess painted wall.I first of all measured and offered the velcro to the top area of the door. The adhesive showed no sign of sticking.I had some PVA glue handy and added a layer, that seemed to help.hammered in some of the pins.Somehow the curtain did stick to velcro across the top layer fo the doorI left it overnight to dry and settle and it seemed to be warmer and block drafts particularly from the cat flap even though not sealed around the vertical or bottom edges.Next afternoon attempted to fix the velcro to the vertical sides of the door.The velcro adhesive didn't seem to have much scope of sticking. it took some paint off.I put on some PVA glue down the wall, it seemed to help a bit but then not much.I put in some of the drawing pins provided.It looks like the curtains would work much better if there were hook and eye type fixings - effectively button holes all round the curtains instead of velcro, and screw fixing hooks provided to all the curtains to be installed.This would not be so draft proof but would make sure the curtains were securely fitted in place.The adhesive may work better if used in the summer when the air is very dry but of course I didn't think of looking for this kind of product in the summer.Why is black velcro used? 90% door frames are probably white or close to light coloured paint or UPVC so black makes the door stand out but not in a good way.Thank you for trying to develop this product.

Looked practical but sizing came up bigger than stated so had to return

1) I have two housetraining puppies 2) it’s freezing out 3) occasionally I need to go out. These would normally be the elements of a perfect storm - I have the choice of poo and wee or frostbite and a massive heating bill. I also can’t see the door easily so when one comes in I don’t know the door is open until my feet go numb.This curtain is an absolute game changer! The difference in temperature is huge, and the dogs worked out how to use it with incentives and a 5 minute training session. I wish I had found it sooner.. it would have saved me sitting wrapped in blankets for the last month.It literally took 10 minutes to install, with no tools needed and no help required.

Efectivamente es superior a los centímetros indicados pues las pulgadas no se corresponden con los cms. indicados en la descripción. Por fin la recibo, llega 1 semana tarde y está hecha de agujeros, por lo que no hay aislante térmico real alguno. La pondré igualmente pero me tengo que poco frío me va a quitar
