I ordered this cross to give as a gift, but I admit i was a little worried that it would look or feel like cheap made plastic. Well I needn't have worried. I received it exactly when promised & couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. This cross is simply lovely. Nice size & weight with a sturdy base, so it won't fall over easily. This cross was the most sought after gift in the family Christmas gift exchange game this year. Everyone wanted it, including me!

This is a beautiful cross! I was hoping the base would be detachable because I wanted to hang it on my wall. But the base is a permanent part of the mold and it is all one piece. The base cannot be removed.* The cross is solid (not hollow) and feels like it is made out of plaster of Paris or some other kind of similar mixture.* The words on the cross are beautiful and inspirational bible quotes. However, some parts of the words are not completely filled in with black ink making it a bit hard to read in spots.
