300W SFX / Micro ATX Power Supply

I should have read the reviews: this thing is LOUD. The only other fan I have that can match it for loudness is a high speed 92mm fan designed to shift air and the has a model name of "tornado". Don't get me wrong it works and personally I don't have issues with cable lengths (as a couple of reviews mention). In a traditional case I could see the cables not stretching far enough but in a small HTPC or similar case it should be fine. If you don't mind a LOUD fan (or don't mind voiding your warranty to replace it) then it's cheap and provides power. I shan't be using this brand again though.

lasted around 6 months then started making a loud buzz, very poor quality.

It is not quiet. It isn't really noisey, but it is noticeably loud which is a bit disappointing. Also some of the cables are way short. The connector to power the CPU barely reaches and is applying pressure on the RAM as a consequence - I had to unscrew the power supply to attach it, as well as unwravel the cable from the other power cables to get those few extra mm. The case was a small case to start with!

If this is a quiet kiss I'd hate to hear a full on smacker on the lips. Bought for a small case set up to link up with a tv for Kodi etc so a quiet unit was anticipated sadly disappointed
