They don’t have seems. This is the only ponytail that I ever trust, it never breaks. The only reason why I buy more is because I keep losing them but they really last long.

Do these work well for holding thin hair in a pony tail without loosening?

I think so. I got them for my 6 year old who can’t sit still and always has hair in her face this fixed the problem 90% of the way!!!!

They aren't super thin... To compare, they are bout the thickness of a cell phone charging cable. I hope this helps :)

What is the circumference of these bands?

They are 6" around. The package actually says "Thick Hair," which I didn't see in the product specs before ordering.
