Great product, worth every penny.
Very pleased. For the folks complaining about no instructions. I’m not sure why they can’t look it up on Google or watch a video on YT. The product works great, it’s very sturdy. The only catch I ran into was the plastic inserts were a bit oversized so you gotta kinda work them into the grooves and that shaves away the excess plastic. I used a small punch set armorer hammer to gently tap them into place. Once that was done, they are a perfect fit now and can be easily exchanged between the different insert sets.

Excellent value - a must have for installing Trijicon HD rear site on Glock slide
Very well made, and the carrying/storage case was an extra plus. At $44+ - felt like I got my monies worth. Recently purchased Trijicon HD night sites and read the reviews on the difficulty of installing the rear site. Since I do all of my own gun work (by no means an expert either) I decided to give this product a try, rather than chancing damaging the tritium-phosphur site tubes using the good old punch method or taking to a gunsmith to install. Already had removed the Glock OEM plastic rear site easily using a plastic punch without damage. The Trijicon (metal) rear site fit VERY TIGHT. Even after several passes of the bottom of the site over 1200 grit sandpaper to remove any high spots, the fit was perfect but tight. Very high quality Trijicon fit and finish. Using the NcStar tool, the slide was cinched down on all four surfaces. Advise using vinyl electrical tap on the side clamp surfaces, the surface of the moving slide of the tool that makes contact with the site, and on the top side of the pistol slide itself to avoid making any potential marks or scratches on the slide during the installation process. A drop of oil in the site channel (wipped across with my finger) also helpful. Take your time and check all settings before wenching the movable tool slide! The NcStar tool worked like a champ! The Trijicon rear site was so tight. I proceeded by holding the NcStar tool secured in a vise, and used a 15mm socket (with ratchet). NcStar was thoughtful in offering this alternative method to turn the movable slide, rather than the provided turning handle. Made installing easy - went on without a glitch. Centered the rear site as needed. No damage to the site or slide. Highly recommend this product over costly site tools costing 2-3 times the price, taking to your gunsmith, or using the "punch" method.

Works great.
This thing come in handy for changing the rear sights way better then using a brass punch and hammer to beat them out. I will say that the bolt that moves the pusher side to side is hard to twist but put some gun lube on the threads and work it back and forth and it will get easier. Used this on my G19, G21, and PDP. Work like a charm.

Nice rear sight press! Worth the money.
I have been an handgun shooter for many years and I collect handguns. That said I usually upgrade my sights. Prior to this tool I took my guns to a gunsmith and paid them $40 to remove and install the new sites. 2 sight upgrades and this press pays for itself. The good: Works great for removing and installing dove tail rear sights. Easy to figure out, easy to use, and easy to adjust sights. Small enough to take with you to the firing range and adjust your sights. Very satisfied. The bad: No instructions come with the press. Also the slide locking clamps do not have marking so you can center your slide. There are some markings for the sight press itself but they are nearly impossible to see. These marks would assume you have your slide centered and are not particularly useful. The ugly: There is a wheel for adjusting the height of the slide so the sights themselves reach the press area. However if you adjust the wheel up to the top of its range it interferes with the slide clamps. There is a shim included which I assume is for placing under the slide to remedy this. There are also inserts for the slide clamps so you do not scratch your slide but they don't really fit well or at all in my case. Summary: For $58 dollars it is a bargain! It works and is heavy duty. It is not perfect but you can figure out how to get the job done without being a rocket scientist. I love my purchase and I look forward for zeroing in all my handgun sights at the range. Remember to order a bottle of thread locker and a set of both SAE and metric Allen wrenches to tighten and loosen your sight screws.

Outta sight pusher. Yeah, I said it....
Wonderful sight pusher. I wish I had found this earlier. It’s affordable and does the job. I used a block of wood and a big hammer (not a framing hammer but a big mallet/Thor looking heavy hammer) to get the rear sights off of my new cz SP-01 tactical. I can’t believe how much force was required to remove the rear sight. Yes, the set screw was removed. Rewind to 2 days ago, my new cz P-01 arrives and I get to work on swapping the sights. Well, my Thor hammer and wood wouldn’t budge the rear sight. I mean, I was smacking it so hard the wood would splinter. But the sight didn’t move at all. I was using a big vice too. I squirted some penetrating fluid (not wd40, that doesn’t do anything) and went to bed. The next morning, I tried again and again, it didn’t move one bit. I was getting worried that I would eventually damage the slide if I continued so I start to look for an affordable sight pusher. So I found and bought this. The sight was off in a minute, no more drama. This pusher is highly adjustable and made short work removing and installing the sights. It was easy and effortless. The pusher is nicely designed and comes with polymer blocks to protect your guns finish. It has a cool turntable that your slide sits on so you can set the proper height. It is a nice anodized blue color with engraved instructions and a nice sight window to check your work. It even has a graduated scale to measure how far you pushed your sight. All knobs are knurled and this tool does NOT feel or look cheap in any way shape or form. As far as tools go, this is rather cool looking. It also comes with a nice nylon zippered case for storage. I can’t comment on other pistols but if you have a new cz p-01 or sp-01 and you want to swap the sights, don’t kid yourself. Do it right and do it safely and get this tool. I think I was lucky with my first gun and if I had found this back then, I would have bought it. It seems kind of pricey to spend on a one time thing but this tool, you can display it on your work desk and people will ask you what it does. You can then tell them it’s a prototype atom smasher and they will believe you. It’s that pretty and interesting looking. You can also make more friends at the range and help other people replace their sights. Ask for a six pack in exchange or have them wash your car or ask for a box of rounds or use it as a nut cracker during the holidays. A giant walnut will easily fit. You can shear the top off with no muss/fuss. Who needs those ugly wooden soldiers when you have this thing. Your mother-in-law will think you’re a genius, when you use it to crush peppercorns for fresh pepper when you have dinner at her house. It can help mask her horrible cooking, the opportunities are endless...I’m going to use this tool as a centerpiece on our kitchen table. It will be a fun and whimsical change from the boring Flowers my wife usually has on display. In all seriousness, It will cost you 25 or 30 dollars at your local gunsmith to get your sights replaced. Then, you need to verify and you may need to adjust your sights, so back to the gunsmith you go. How about when a new sight comes out that you want to try? It will save you time and money eventually paying for itself. It really is a great tool and you won’t be disappointed. Sadly, I did not receive any incentives for this review. I paid full price for this tool. I’m still trying to figure out how that works. The end.

Easy to use Sight Pusher
This sight pusher, while undoubtedly well-made and practical, regrettably didn't prove compatible with my specific firearm model (Springfield XDs), and I'd like to provide a more detailed account of my experience: To begin, it's crucial to acknowledge the quality of this sight pusher. It's clear that it's crafted with precision and durability in mind, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of sight adjustments. The inclusion of a convenient carrying case is a thoughtful touch, adding to its overall utility and portability. However, it's worth noting that despite its impressive build and design, this sight pusher wasn't the right fit for my particular firearm. Upon conducting further research, I discovered that my firearm had unique requirements for sight removal that this pusher couldn't accommodate. This realization led me to the conclusion that I needed professional assistance from a gunsmith to safely and accurately remove the sight. In summary, while this sight pusher is undoubtedly a top-notch tool, its compatibility is limited to certain firearm models. In my case, it didn't align with the specific requirements of my firearm. Nonetheless, its quality and the included carrying case make it a solid choice for those whose firearms are compatible with it. If you're considering purchasing one, I would recommend double-checking its compatibility with your firearm model or seeking professional assistance when necessary

Mostly good. Not for everything
Works good as long as you have straight up rear iron sights. I changed multiple sets of sights on a Glock from stock to 2 different heights of ameriglo to cowitness with different optics. But if you have the rear iron sights that swoop back and don't stick straight up from the dovetail this sight pusher doesn't work. I tried to change the sight in the picture but it felt like I was pushing the limits of either the sight tool or my sights and I didnt want to risk it. But for simple sights that sit straight up in the dove tail it works fine (at least with a Glock)

Worth it great purchase
Worth it a great purchase. Not sure why I didn’t buy this sooner. I replaced a pair of sites on different slide without it before and it took forever. With this pusher it took a little under 10 mins. So easy and no damage to the slide. Will be buying all new fiber optics for my other slides and this tool is worth every penny.
