simple mouse that is quiet and comfortable
This is the 2nd time I've ordered this mouse. The first was purchased in 2019 - used daily for 8-10 hours - mostly office work on 2 screens. It's really quiet and comfortable for my hand. The scroll wheel started to fail a few days ago - it would back-track a few lines when scrolling, and was getting progressively unreliable. I ordered a replacement for less than $10 and it showed up the next day (must be an Amazon location near me). The new one had what appeared to be a bad left button - it would click but not respond unless I pushed really hard. I turned it off, exercised the button a few times, and turned it back on. It is working normally now. I will buy a spare soon - I'm so comfortable with this mouse that I don't need to try an alternative. Really great and simple product for the price.

Works on MacBooks.
This thing is a tad smaller than I’d like but it does the job and gets things done that I can’t do on the mouse pad on the MacBook.

Nice quiet mouse with somewhat limited lifespan
This is a review of cimetech Wireless Computer Mouse, 2.4G Slim Cordless Mouse Less Noise with 1 AA battery required. I've had a few of these for 3 years. One still works fully with light use. Another worked for a couple years until I dropped it a few times on a hard floor, and then the right button was unreliable, my fault. I still keep that one as a backup, it's usable. One I ordered more recently only lasted under a year. I don't recall dropping it at all, but one day the scroll wheel was dead and felt all wrong in its movement.I opened it up just to see what was going on. There is a single screw hidden beneath the quality control sticker. The clear plastic axle of the scroll wheel is very thin, and it appears it broke off where it inserts into the scroll sensor.Overall I like the shape and function of these. Fits nicely in the average hand, not too big or small. Lightweight. I like how quiet it is. Good range. I have the one which takes a AA battery. I use a rechargeable and it lasts a long time, maybe a couple months with regular use per charge. They used to sell a version with a built-in battery. I never tried that style but now I don't see it available. Nice all-black design, flat black - Batman would approve. Doesn't collect prints or smudges.I like that it has the three DPI settings for adjustable speed. I like the middle speed. After a while of non-use it goes to sleep and wakes with a click or scroll. Otherwise it's always ready and responsive. Buttons work well. The middle scroll wheel is a little lacking as a middle mouse button. It works but is awkward, I would have preferred a dedicated middle button. Especially given how thin the scroll wheel axle is, you definitely shouldn't press it hard. They could make these a bit more durable, and the price has increased about 60% in a few years. But for the money I'd say it's still a decent basic mouse, rivals more expensive ones except for durability. My main reason for sticking with this model is the quiet, just more pleasant to use, plus the comfortable fit and texture.Four stars, deducting one just for reduced durability.

Normal mouse, good value for price.
My mouse came promptly with no issues in shipping and was super simple to set up with my laptop. It worked immediately. I've had this mouse for a few months now and have encountered no issues. Its sleep mode is a little annoying, as it goes to sleep within about 10 or 15 minutes of inactivity for me, which is about the time it takes for me to have a brief conversation with someone who walked in and then get back to what I was doing. I have to turn off the mouse, turn it back on again, and wait a few minutes for it to start working again when this happens. For the price, you get what you pay for. This is a normal wireless mouse, great for office or school settings. So far it's been pretty hardy, I have dropped it a few times and it remains undamaged.Only real issue (which is hardly an issue, just something I've noticed) is that it stains easily. I have fairly sweaty palms and you can now see two clear fingerprints on the mouse where my fingers rest. Though this doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I'm sticking to Cimtech mice
I had a Cimtech rechargeable mouse that I loved and you'd just connect it to USB to recharge. But after many years I accidentally broke it. No way to replace it because it's no longer sold on Amazon so I tried other mice, all were failures, so I switched back to Cimtech knowing I have rechargeable AA and AAA batteries to be green without buying a rechargeable mouse. For me, I'll stick to Cimtech for the best experience with mice for me.

Patience
This is a "good" wired mouse at a great price. I notice that every time I boot up the mouse in unresponsive until I unplug and replug it into my laptop. After that it works fine.
