Great scent strong

Bought this as it was recommended by a friend. The cologne smells nice but was not my favourite kind of scent. For the price however I enjoyed using this as a casual cologne (though it wouldn't smell out of place at formal settings). It is a slightly mature cologne so it's more suitable for people aged 25+ rather than say something like Armani's Aqua Di Gio which was my favourite cologne as a teenager.

This is a light scent which is perfect for a man's face after a shave. The spray works very well.

I got my first bottle of 1881 in 2000 at Saphoras on the Champs Elise in Paris. It lasts so long, that a light spray will do you all day. People will walk up to you and ask you what you are wearing long after you can no longer smell it. I used it practically every day since my purchase, and it finally gave up the ghost in 2008. When I got to America, a relative asked me what it was, and when I told him, he said emphatically, "There ain't nothing like that here!" Hard to find, I thought I had found it at fragrances.com, but alas, they were sold out. I took a chance on Amazon, and voila! They had it! It is the only cologne I have ever worn since I first purchased it ten years ago. Of course, there are other great fragrances out there, but there is something about 1881 that sets it apart from all the others. The hint of spice is very nice. Nino Cerruti probably retired just off the money he made on this.

Peicw is good but quality and fragance are too diluted, is not the same strength like in the past.
