Well made, comfortable head lamp. Easily adjusts to go over or under different hats. Like the variable light intensity and how simple it is to select each of the three intensities. Appreciate being able to set the aim of the light up and down also. Runs a long time on batteries. Recommend the Core battery for those using daily.

I have been using this Petzl Headlamp regularly for over 5 years. It simply wont quit working. Head strap adjust easily and light has three brightness settings!

This headlamp is great. The back band is easily adjusted for your head size. The lights have two levels of lights and both work great. I use my lamp when walking my dog down our hill or walking around in the evenings. I love it.

This review is for the 250 Lumen Petzl headlamp. I use these primarily for working on cars at night. This model does not have Strobe or Red mode. It does not include a charging port, so the batteries must be removed in order to charge them. I have not used the Petzl CORE battery system, but having extra sets of AAA charged-up batteries makes this great for my use. Opening the latch to replace the batteries is easy. I really like the first ON is at low-light mode as opposed to the Energizer and LE Headlamp which turn-on at highest-mode first. Also, the Petzl turns-off WITHOUT having to toggle-thru the medium & high mode = Love these two features! I am a big fan of these headlamps and I will be buying at least 2 more of these Petzl units due to whole family needs. BTW - The three LE Headlamps I bought had non-replaceable batteries and became unusable after about 9 months of use. I learned from this silly mistake. Any and all future headlamp purchases will have replaceable batteries only.

This light has been invaluable when doing tasks where I need both hands free. It is light weight, and the strap is comfortable enough that I have forgotten I was wearing it. There are three brightness settings which is nice when you don't want the glare of a bright light. You can set the light at different tilt settings so you can place the light where you need it. Good quality construction even though it is plastic, I have dropped it a few times without any damage.

This is my third Petzl Tikkina headlamp in the last nine years, with each version being slightly different. This model is sturdy and easy to use, with one-click operation and low, medium, and high beam settings. It feels slightly heavier in the hand but is well balanced when worn. The adjustable ¾-inch headband is soft and comfortable; the power button design looks to prevent accidental activation in a backpack. A previous Petzl headlamp experienced battery contact failure within six months of light use, which caused some hesitation. After trying other brands, the Tikkina proved more comfortable to run with and easier to adjust on the move. The 300-lumen model is sufficient for dawn or dusk neighborhood runs…. and if this model holds up, would like to purchase a higher lumin Petzl lamp.

Popped out of track when I turned it to put the battery in. To put the battery in you have to flip the light to the back (like it would illuminate your forehead). When I did that it popped out of the track. I spent almost ten minutes trying to get it back. Then I gave up. My wife was watching me because I got it as a gift for her. We agreed it wasn't going to work for her. Looks cool though. We both liked how it looked, hence one star. I have another petzel light that I've had for years and I swear by that thing. It's a little bulky for her. So I hoped this would work. But the build quality is lower.

Very useful! I use it all over the place, especially when a torch is impractical! Straightforward to fit batteries which were not supplied and I wonder how I managed without this!
