Cuprinol 5159077 Garden Shades - White Daisy (2.5L)

I use this product annually on my outdoor timber, dries quickly, covers brilliantly, looks great, easy to apply , love it !!

The paint went on easy, only one coat needed if you put it on thickly.The consistency is perfect, not too thick. Certainly water resistant!I have tried another brand, but this is the better of the two major companies I’ve used.Perfect but price has increased a lot over the past five years, but then again what hasn’t … 🤔

We have used this paint for ages, different colours but quality all the same - very good. This colour is a favourite, looks good and blends in well with the surroundings. It is easy to apply with a brush, gives an excellent finish and wears well too.

I've ordered 4 tins so far of this product ( urban slate) the latest 2 tins arrived very quickly in an undamaged box. The paint tin itself was well packaged in another undamaged box. One tin had leaked into the sealed plastic bag. I saw the lid was slightly open . Not too much loss but messy. Otherwise the paint doesn't go very far but the wood is untreated and rough so most likely the wood is at fault. Lovely colour. Very happy..if a bit mucky now with the leaky tin. Hope it lasts well on the shed and fence because it's been a hard job !

Cuprinol is my favourite brand of paint when it comes to painting garden furniture or fencing.This tin of paint was no exception. The colour is exactly what I was expecting and I had no issues applying the paint to my project.I do find the paint to be quite runny and I also find that the wood absorbs a lot of the paint (which is the idea to help waterproof it). I personally found that 3 coats of paint gave me the desired finish I was looking for and I’m quite chuffed with how it looks. I chose to brush paint it due to only having brushes and I was more than happy with the finish and how easy it was to apply.The paint came delivered in a box which made it quite clear which way up to transport it and this helped prevent any leaks in my opinion from the delivery stage. Also, the tin is covered in tape to prevent the lid just popping off.The tin is like most paints and I found using a screwdriver is suffice enough to help lever the lid off. It’s easy to pop the lid back on and then remove again when doing extra coats.I found that one coat took just under an hour to dry.I can’t really complain about any aspect of the product. It’s only paint at the end of the day.Hope this review helps in anyway
