Salomon Men's XA PRO 3D Trail Running Shoes for Men

I bought my first pair in 2015, I replaced them in 2025 (they lasted 10 years), I don't use these for hiking specifically, these are more of a "if im not in dress shoes im in these" kinda shoes. Very comfy, super grippy, very helpful for backpacking through europe, going to buy groceries and out to eat.They are lightweight considering how resistant they are (they aren't minimalist shoes but definitely not "boots"). The older pair lasted 10 years so that is 15 bucks a year, very good value for money.THe style is a tad clunky but for me that works, im not a white sole trendy shoe kinda person. Salomon is an awesome brand I have these, plus mid and the heavy weight model boots.

Great fit, great support, love the speedlaces. My second pair and the soles on these have outlasted every other brand I've tried before. Walked 3.5-8 mikes a day and lasted a year.

Great shoe, but the tab on the back that is supposed to help pull the shoe on ripped the first day. The last shoe lasted 2 years.

These shoes feel, fit and look great. I wear a size 12 shoe and the fit is comfortable. I have a narrow foot and the side support is perfect. They’re very comfortable to walk in. I can’t comment on the durability because I’ve only had them a couple of days. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Exactly like every pair I've had-which means they haven't changed anything about them which is great.

I have 2 other pair of these shoes (one gore-tex and another without) and they are my favorite shoes of all time. I got these as a replacement for my non gore-tex pair as they were getting fairly worn out after years of daily wear. When I got them they seemed a bit tight so figured the just needed a bit of break-in time. I don't know if they were mis marked as to size or what but the fit only got worse with time and they make my right hip hurt so bad I cannot wear them. Of course by the time I figured this out the return window was closed so now I'm stuck with $140 pair of shoes I can't wear and still using my 5 year old worn out pair as they are still the best shoes I have.
