Fantastic, Passionate, Informative
This wasn't a dry read. Had a conversational tone that made me less likely to 'skim'. Of course if you aren't interested in worms to begin with you'll probably end up bored. While this is not an advanced 'everything you could possibly know about keeping worms' this is a fantastic beginner to moderate level book on worms. I've done my fair amount of research over a few months and it was summed up nicely here with a few things I didn't know as well. Love the bonus at the end.Note to the author: you don't have a link to your sustainable living book at the end, just a photo of the cover (don't know if that was intentionally left out) but I am looking forward to your book on bees next! All around I think this is a great read, very informative and I would recommend it to anyone looking for more information on worms!

If you want to grow worms this is for you.
I had gotten tired of driving 24 miles to buy bait before I could go fishing so I decided to grow my own worms. I wish I had owned this book before I started. It is informative and easy to navigate. It tells you what you need to know to get your worms growing and keeping them happy. This book focuses mostly on compost worming and not bait worms but I still think it is a valuable resource.

The worm book for beginners
This is a booklet that is really packed with information about how to either start your workers or to care for the workers that is part of the garden equipment a lot of us possess. We have brandlings and they are gradually being introduced over all of our land mass.We are delighted to compost/recycle our fruit and vegetables waste and are really keen to look at the environment in as many ways as possible. This booklet is excellent for helping both our worms and ourselves to be productive and healthy in the small part of the world we can manage to the benefit the planet too.Anyone wishing to use free and natural compost (no work or smells) plus recycle most of their food wastage (if listed) can have a small and neat bin that virtually looks after itself and can give you many benefits such as a on-site plot and nutrition for your plants - vegetables, fruit, flowers and trees that is really top feed.I would recommend this booklet to anyone no matter how small their space is for it will be useful.

Excellent, interesting step-by-step guide
I've been looking for ways to increase the compost production for my backyard vegetable garden. This is it! I'm making a worm farm. I had always thought that worm composting was complicated, but after reading this book, I see that it really isn't. The author has done an excellent job explaining every step from setting up your worm bin to harvesting the compost. He gives many tips on how to keep your worms alive and happy, how to keep out ants and fruit flies, and how to create the optimum worm composting environment in your bin.I plan to set up a worm composting bin and get my child involved in the feeding and care of the worms. What a great way to learn about organic gardening! This book is well-written, to-the-point, and covers the topic thoroughly. I chuckled a few times, too. Highly recommended!

Useful but short
This booklet is fairly good, but not as thorough as it could be. When I got my Worm Factory 360 (through Amazon too), the book that comes with it is far more thorough than this little booklet. So thorough that this little booklet isn't actually needed. But for a cheap book (I happened to get it free through Amazon), it's good for a beginner who doesn't have money to invest in worm bins and books. It would be a good and inexpensive starting place to learn about caring for worms in order to produce worm compost.

Great starter info--succinct--just how I like it.
Being an avid gardener, I've known for some time that worm castings make fabulous compost. I'm also aware that vermicompost is somewhat expensive to buy, and this book contains all the information you need to start making your own. It covers all the basics, and I was happy to see that we don't even have to buy a worm bin, we can easily and inexpensively construct our own from the instructions included. My biggest concern was handling the worms. A scary (well, it's humorous now) childhood experience with some really wiggly nightcrawlers left me less than enthusiastic about handling worms, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can have a worm bin and not have to touch the worms! The author's candor in his presentation of both the pros and cons of vermiculture was also much appreciated.

Informative Little Book
This book gives a great introduction to worms and worm farming with an emphasis on the composting aspect. Despite the limited pages they are filled with a lot of useful information, the book is a quick easy read that anyone interested in worms or worm farming is sure to benefit from. I wish the book went a little bit deeper with worm bin designs and perhaps add some illustrations, I believe those elements would have made the book a 5 out of 5.

Simple and to the point
I really enjoyed this little book - I've always wanted to try worm composting but couldn't determine how to do it and succeed - I seemed to always be missing some key component. This book lays out what to do step by step, in an easy to understand fashion. The cohesiveness is what makes it far superior to anything I've found by googling - this book takes you from start to finish. I really want to start a worm farm now, even though the growing season is over and it's getting cold out. (Yes, there are tips for an indoor worm farm. The question is, am I brave enough? Especially with overly curious children and a small amount of space.)

Helpful to get started in vermaculture. I feel much more prepared to start a worm bin and ideas that are very practical to help it go smoothly!

Not really a book but a pamphlet
This 'book' is so thin it should really be described as a pamphlet. Having said that if you know absolutely nothing about vermiculture then this pamphlet will get you started. If you have been worm wrangling for a while then this pamphlet will not give you any new insights.
