Powered Toilet Lift Seat
The unit was delivered ahead of schedule, and I was able to assemble it and have it ready when needed. The instructions were clear and fairly well written, the illustrations were clear as to assembly order, and I was able to completely assemble with no issues. The unit ships with a 17 mm wrench, and an allen key. As I was following the instructions to tighten the bolts and nuts, the allen key stripped. I happened to have a matching allen key in my bicycle tool kit, so I was able to complete assembly. All of the components fit together well, the hardware was solid and had a nice feel to it. It works as advertised, and is a little slow going up and down. The motor is very quiet, which is nice. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering a lift.

BEST INVESTMENT I MADE!!
I had hip replacement, tried before surgery getting up from those raised toilet seat lids and out of many many attempts to not put hip in compromising angle failed miserably! So I was scared I would have too go into rehab facility, live by myself. Then I saw this and at the price was on the fence. But the way I looked at it: go into rehab or possibly dislocate hip trying to get off cheap seat riser. I choose this! This product made my recovery!!! Literally!!! Because of this seat putting me in correct position for ease of standing, physical therapy released at few days after 3 weeks. Never did physical therapy see this seat riser before, nor have they EVER had a recovery as fast as mine. EVER. Why, because I never tore the muscles that were sewn back together to get bones out and hardware in, many do struggling to get off toilet! Frankly, I was terrified going home alone after surgery that was a bad surgery due too damage. It was this toilet seat riser that made it possible! It is exactly the same concept as recliner chair lift. Although much quieter! It has remote same as recliner, NEVER EVER WOBBLES! ( I am very fat and old), completely stable, fits in tight area, does need electricity, however just buy extention cord! I am telling you, without this, you will not heal as fast! You will tear your inner stitches holding muscles together with just a plain seat riser. This will prevent you from muscle compromise getting up from toilet. If I didn't cover a concern, ask question and hopefully amazon will send it out to email for customers to ask. THREE WEEKS and physical therapy released me!!!! It's now week 8 and posting review. This is the first thing you should buy!

This is a very sturdy lift. It does require some assembly. This product is extremely helpful if you are providing at home care. It is easy to use and clean.

Life saving product for ALS patient
Husband has ALS. At this stage he can still standup if the seat is over 23 inch. This allow the toilet seat to be higher. Pro: - the best product and best price in the market. - We also able to install a beget on top of it and work great. - lift pump is quiet - very sturdy and solid - easy to install especially with the instruction video here - arm rest can lift up - can move out of the way to clean A few things that can improve however. - the lift movement is pretty slow - the gap between seat is big ( but I can put some blocker or styrofoam to help block the water) - the tilt is very steep. For handicap people, it almost feels like the tilt at the end 30% is to sliding them down the seat, even though I set the front very high and the end very low, it is still very steep tilt at the last few movement of lift. - worry about the paint of the edge rim of the seat. Feel Iike they can peel off and get rusty. But I can always repaint it I guess. Still an excellent product for the price

Great for elderly father
Works best with a high rise toilet, or they'll be a gap between seat and toilet. Elderly parent had no strength to use his arms to help himself up off the toilet Works great for declining health and saves your back.

Well made, easy to assemble instructions.
This is well made and easy to assemble, the instructions are simple and clear!! All the parts are identifiable and well packaged. The only thing I might change is the remote. Though it is straight forward with only up and down arrows, it would be great if the light changed to red when the process of up or down was complete; or some indicator. My 95 year old mom can't hear the motor and doesn't know immediately when if the cycle is complete. Highly recommend.

Perfect for people who need help standing
This is perfect. My mother in law fell and bruised her hip. She couldn’t stand up from the sitting position and this helps her perfectly. She was reluctant to use it but it only has two buttons and she can work it with no problem.

So slow ..
Thought this would be really useful for my 78yo mother. When unboxing I was happy to see that the materials were high quality. After spending almost 2 hours putting it together and stripping out the junky alllen wrench, we tried it out. Unfortunately we found out the lifting speed is way too slow to be useful and you just kind of end up sliding off of the lift. Also, even with the seat set to the lowest height possible she was on her tippy toes the majority of the time that it was lifting.
