Get to grips with this great product
There are many grip available for a MTB as one like spongy foam ones (I find they disintegrate to powder), other like thin rubber but the vibration can be torturous. With some the grip pattern is so harsh the bike is unrideable without gloves. When I discovered ODI lock-on grips over 10 yrs ago they got top reviews in Mountain biking U.K. Magazine and I bought with confidence. The years passed and the bikes have been upgraded but I kept the same grips as they are that good. Eventually it was time to change them so I have rebought and chosen these ones. I have to say they seem even grippier than the preceding X-Trainer ODI grips and a few wet rides already this year have proven them as an upgrade. The padding is thicker than most but doesn’t affect that scalpel like flick ability of my Specialized. What it did do is reduce the hand fatigue of longer rides for me. The pattern also clears well after a muddy mishap. All in a 5 star buy for me.

good chunky grips
Look good, chunky rubbery grip and quality fittings. Initially thought these were not as secure as promised as was able to rotate them, admittedly with some force, after fitting. But an hr or so later they were much tighter and all good. Can thoroughly recommend. Update: Over a month down the line and all good, grips haven't shifted a bit and are very grippy.

Fat grips and rips...
Really enjoying using these. They do feel different to my old set as I wanted to go thicker and these certainly are thicker and noticeable. I think these are great in straight line rough stuff as the rubber has just enough give to keep your hands in place but it takes a bit of getting used to.... at this point I’m not sure if I’d go back to my old skinny grips.... I’ll let BPW answer that question for me

Great grips
Been using theses for a couple of months now and they are great. Just a little bigger than the grips that came on my Cube but they make all the difference, no more aching wrists. Which is exactly what I was looking for. I can ride for hours now without a problem. Fitting is really simple and lock on grips are definitely the way to go.

Very Comfortable
I have large hands and these grips are nice and chunky. I initially thought the bolts were not included (another reviewer said this), but they were taped inside one of the grips in a small plastic bag, so some self-assembly is required. The grips are very comfortable and thick enough to reduce the vibration in your hands.

I love the grip and dampening propreties of these grips. They fit better with my large hands. Reduces hand and arm fatigue considerably after long MTB rides. Easy install in 5 minutes

Ottime manopole, come detto da altri hanno un diametro importante e sono quindi più indicate per chi abbia mani lunghe, l'installazione è semplicissima, basta una chiave a brugola e prestare la massima attenzione a non stringere troppo. I primi km (20? 50?

I bought these grips for my fiancée, who broke her hand awhile back and needed a bit of a softer, larger grip. The grip is a bit larger than some of the thin ones, like stock Bontragers or ODI Ruffians, but thinner than Oury grips. The rubber is also a bit tacky (but not sticky), so it grips really securely and nicely to the hand, but the grip is not mushy. Lock-On grips are the only way to go on for serious mountain biking, as they don't twist around or work their way off the bars. This bonus pack comes with two grips, two sets of clamps (four clamps), two sets of screws (four screws, hidden in one of the grips), and two bar plugs that get popped into the outside clamp and locked on, not like the shoddy ones that insert into the bar tube. The clamps come loose and are a bit hard to get on the grip itself; I used a soft mallet and gently tapped them on one at a time, with the grip vertical on a soft mat. The clamps are the same for the inside and outside of the grip. Mount the clamps onto the grips first, then put a cap on one side of each, and then slide them onto the bars. Position the grips and then screw the clamp down, taking care not to over-torque the screws. The clamping action is pretty strong, and you shouldn't need to torque down hard to make them tight enough not to slip. ODI grips are made in the USA. My fiancée and I ride cross country and enduro/all mountain. We have Titus Xs. I also bought the ODI Ruffians, a thinner grip, for my bike and love them.
