My wife had hip replacement surgery and we got this to help with icing the area per doctor’s instructions.It is easy for one person to put on themselves and wear while walking. It stayed cold for about 35-45 minutes and longer if it isn’t a hot day. It worked really well and stayed in place. It wasn’t too heavy or put pressure on the incision. It was flexible and durable, though I didn’t put it through anything other than walking and resting. The size was perfect for her. She is 5’4 and 125 pounds. Highly recommend.

I carefully reviewed several ice packs for hips. I didn’t want one too big as I didn’t need it to fit far down my leg, but rather just around my hip joint area. I also didn’t want it to be too bulky.The straps are nice and long and easy to arrange around waist and thigh to keep it secure. I can use it while sitting, laying or even standing as I do the dishes.The bag to store it in freezer is a bit small so I keep it in a 2 Gall zip lock bag in the freezer.It stays cold for a good amount of time while using it. ( I have not tried or needed it for use heated.)Love this ice pack!!!

Used for recovery from hip replacement. The straps are so long and tedious to deal as they stick to each other. Id prefer shorter straps or perhaps just snaps to fasten. I was hoping it would stay frozen longer but the thin flexible pad can't quite retain a super cold temp. After these annoyances it did ultimately provide daily relief for me. I'm still using it.

I had a total hip replacement and this was my first time using it . It was the best . It help with the swelling and stop the pain . I didn’t know how to used it but the pack was to cold for my skin so I had to put towels under it . Idk if that was right but it help me out . The straps goes the length of your body size . It was very durable . Easy to use

The product was good but only received one strap with it. So with one strap you cannot properly apply. Only will give 3 Star

I have bursitis in both hips and this a life saver. It stays cold for over a half hour and is so comfortable. The straps are a bit long but they are manageable. I’m really happy with my purchase and would recommend to a friend .

I had a hip labral tear repair and asked the doctor to order me an ice machine ice pack, but they forgot. I had ordered this as a backup and 3 weeks out from surgery it is still in use. I keep a thicker hand towel under it and a thinner kitchen towel over it. As it loses its coldness I flip it over and use the thinner towel under it. Stays cold for a good hour and freezes quickly. I use it laying down so I haven’t used the straps. I’m 5’ 4” and find it’s a good size for me.
