Benjamins Bay Rum Mentholated

Reminds me of the Caribbean. Very refreshing after a hot flush. Love the smell too.

Does the job

This is a good bay rum product. I use it as an aftershave, but it can be a general invigorating splash too.The menthol gives you a great cooling sensation, which is nice after a shave. The scent dries down to a fairly pure bay rum, without a lot of clove or cinnamon. If you're looking for a clean bay oil scent, then the Benjamins range is worth checking out.One thing to note: the scent doesn't last long. For me, this isn't a big problem. I don't like having a big cloud of strong fragrance wafting around me all day. I prefer my scents to be mild and subtle. But if you're the type who likes their scent more powerful, then you may find this a bit underwhelming.

Was looking for a decent Bay Rum in the U.K., there didn’t seem to be many available, so thought I’d try this - glad I did! Loaded with cloves and a nice little menthol kick! Doesn’t give a HUGE ‘sting’ after shaving, but enough to know it’s doing its job (closing pores and preventing infection); the menthol hit is just enough, the sting gives way to the cooling effect, and the scent lingers a little longer than some other, more expensive Bay Rums. Very good value for money! Barbers in the U.K. take note! Great for hot towel, straight razor shaves!

It was ok, I was hoping for more scent and more menthol

My mother used this on me when I was little. If I had a cold or suffered from muscular aches this was the go-to treatment which helped a lot. So I’ve continued this with my own child and it’s brilliant.
