Bulk Pure N Acetyl L Cysteine (NAC) Powder, 500 g

I use N-Acetyl Cysteine for several reasons, it is used to treat a variety of ailments and I recommend further research on this issue. The most well-known is that it is rapidly converted into glutathione which acts as a powerful antioxidant in the blood, it also detoxifies chemicals into less harmful compounds. It has been claimed to reduce the risk of heart disease by decreasing the oxidative stress on the heart and cardiovascular system. Some recommend also taking Vitamin C to help this process. A study by The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, claimed that N-acetyl Cysteine reduces homocysteine an amino acid in the blood associated with hardening of the arteries. High levels of Homocysteine which you get from eating red meat is a risk factor for heart and kidney disease. A study has shown that it can reduce also blood pressure. As its sulphur it smells and tastes awful so I put it in some squash which helps. Build up the dosage as too much can cause an acid reflux.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – get your sulfur on. It’s so critical to maintaining health. This stuff in particular is great for building up glutathione – the bodies most important antioxidant. And if you’ve got respiratory issues, this stuff can make a world of difference.

Smells strange and tastes very sour, but easy to cap yourself!

This stuff is really good for your glutathione liver and balancing neurotransmitters but it tastes like sulphuric acid lol so mix it with a tasty drink

this powder is fantastic I have copd and it does bring up the mucus my breathing is much better would buy again great product.

You can feel a difference

Yes there really is a scoop with this product, but it's burried inside the package in the actual powder! When the package arrives, all you see is a bag containing the powder inside the picture. You have to dig through the powder to find the scoop, but it it there. There really should be some kind of an instruction with the product to tell you that the scoop is mixed in with the powder itself.
