Excellent overall for the price, and perfectly meets all of my needs. If you need a no-compromises gaming setup that you can pick-up-and-go, this is my pick. It's a bit larger than the official case, but still small enough to fit in a small backpack, and just small enough to still be practical in an airplane/car setting. I upgraded from a JSAUX storage case (also excellent) because I wanted more capacity. If you're more interested in portability & price, I still recommend the JSAUX, which also has an integrated kickstand. If you're upgrading from the standard Valve case, you should also try the JSAUX since you can still fit a lot into it. But for large-storage needs, this is by far the best option I've tried that manages to still be portable. Materials/Safety: Material and build are satisfactory. The 2-layer design snugly wraps the deck from both sides, one of which covers the entire screen (as opposed to just part of the screen like the JSAUX), so I am less concerned about it leaving an imprint on the screen long-term. You can also flip the deck up to get to the under-compartment without worrying about it falling. This also means that if you tightly stuff the pack, nothing will press directly onto the Deck screen. A big upgrade in this regard. Storage: Unbeatable. I am very impressed with the storage capacity for the size of the case. You can make full use of the volume without compromising on safety. There are four total compartments of various sizes, and the full-size top compartment is what sets this case apart from the competition. I can store the following with plenty of room to spare: A 20kwh battery bank, multiple cables, cleaning cloth, the official dock, 65w wall adapter, wireless earbuds, a foldable keyboard, and two gamepads (one full size, one SN30 Pro). Leaving out the keyboard would have room for three gamepads, up to two being full size. Full size gamepads must be positioned with the joysticks lining up with the side-compartments (next to the deck), otherwise the joysticks will be too tall. If you're using a short gamepad like the SN30 pro, this is a non-issue. Potential complaints: Reading other reviews, I was concerned about the zippers but they seem decent at first try. Time will tell how they hold up. My only complaint so far is that the top-compartment is loose, so things can shuffle around. I think some velcro straps could have been a good way to secure objects in place, so I may give that a try.

This case does exactly what it’s intended for. It safely protect the SteamDeck and has enough storage for all (if not, MOST) of your accessories for it. ***Pros and cons at bottom*** Inside my case, I carry my: headset SteamDeck The tv Dock Charger and extra controller. WITH PLENTY OF SPACE STILL INSIDE. **PROS** •The Case is a 10/10 for functionality during travel. It has the ability to carry all the accessories you need during travel while also protecting your SteamDeck from falls or scratches • Case is Cloth lined to help avoid scratches on the SteamDeck or accessories. Feels more “luxurious”. **CONS** •One big con for me was case shells Hardness. It’s not as hard as the one that came with the SteamDeck. It’s still a “hard shell” case, but to that minimum standard. (For the price, it’s understandable. Just wish it was more solid) •the zippers inside and outside feel cheap. You are getting what you pay for. It’s not a $95 case, so you aren’t going to get that level of quality. Other than the 2 cons I could find in the week I’ve had the case, it still is a pretty damn good case for under $40. I’m currently using mine to keep everything together and now travel with. It seems to be holding up to the job and working great! It would be nice to see quality improvement on shell and zippers, but until then, I do recommend this case :) enjoy and good luck! 👍

This has been so great to travel with. It fits my PS4 controller, the charger and a big microfiber cloth I use to clean my screen. It’s sturdy and easy to carry.

Keeps things safe from exterior damage. Light weight. Plenty of space for all your needs. Personally I don’t think it’s recommended or safe to use with certain docking stations so it really depends on which 1 you have (mine is a little longer than the 1 shown in the ad) it can damage your controller or your controller can damage your steam deck sticks. Other than that I think it’s a great buy definitely worth it and a huge upgrade from what you get when you first buy a steam deck.

I bought this for thr Asus Rog Ally, as I thought the only case "made for it" through Best Buy is stupid - it's a soft case and has no room for accessories like a battery pack.... So I bought this case ans its PERFECT! The Rog Ally fits the velcro holder and is almost the same shape of the Steam Deck, at least close enough to slot into the case without issue. It's a hard case and has plenty of room for the Asus Rog Ally, 2 large battery packs (30,000mah and a 20,000mah), 2 USB-C cables, USB +PD 100w dock, and a 100w power brick for charging. It all fits securely in the hardshell case and works great! Excellent buy for the Asus Rog Ally jf you need a lot of storage to carry the ultimate gaming rig around! I'm sure it also works perfectly for the Steam Deck as it's made for it.

This case is perfect for my steam deck. As you can see in my pictures, you can fit a ton of stuff in here (I was able to fit the charger, 2 PS4 controllers, my weird blue bendy stand, my keyboard, my USBC hub, my mouse, my ps vita, and coffee course my steam deck lol) and it holds it all very securely. Feels just as strong and sturdy as the regular cases that come with the steam deck, but with this one you can carry everything you might need for it and it even has a good comfortable shoulder strap and a grippy handle to carry it wherever your going. Great for any travel or even just taking to a friend's house for splitscreen or general multiplayer fun. Very high quality and I highly recommend it to anyone with a Steam Deck.

Good quality. Holds steam deck snugly. And the only case I found that can hold the dock, plus large battery (and folding keyboard and controller, plug, etc.) As well. It is bulky, like a mini briefcase, but for me its perfect as I use my steam deck also as a portable PC as well when travelling (rather than bring a laptop as well) and this holds everything I need it to (with room to spare) and still fits in a backpack or carryon nicely.

You can put many things inside, and even more. The case is sturdy enough and comfortably fit enough with the steam deck

Cela fait quelque mois que je l'ai, elle est plutôt bien faite, toute la place qu'on veux la dedans. En remplacement la house d'origine qui avait un problème à la tirette.

As you can see from the picture, I can get my deck, a large power bank, plugs and cables into the deck side of this case. I usually have another large plug, that has an adaptor attached, and a couple more cables in that side. On the other side I have my XM5s, a few spare cables, and other bits and bobs in there. This thing is big but it holds everything you could ever need. I keep it in my bag for work but it has a shoulder strap if you want to carry it on its own. Everything feels safe and secure in it. The SD card holders are a nice touch and I didn't realise how useful they would be. If the deck 2, whenever that comes, can fit this then I'll have this case for many many years to come and I know it'll last. I highly, highly recommend this case.
