Moleskin are such excellent quality journals, it's my first choice when investing in a good quality, lasting journal. I find the pages don't bleed with the right stationary, and when using my gel pens, the paper absorbs the ink well without it spreading like in others I have had where it sort of sits on the paper and then smudges. I get hardly any ghosting through the pages, unless it's through error and I've made a mistake. I have both the large and the extra large, I prefer the hard cover of the large over the softer cover of the extra large, but both journals are a great choice.

Good quality. Looking forward to sketching with the dots rather than the squares.

Great notebook, the grid helps to plan out pages and keep everything neat but there is some bleed through the pages when using dark inks on one side

Paper is thin and not suitable for ink pens. As shown in the picture the ink bleeds through the paper....

I brought the dotted notebook and found the pages are far too thin. A normal rollerball pen will show through to the other side and any other pen will likely bleed onto the other pages.

Pages are so thin almost every single pen bleeds through.

Great size, and form factor. Would be great for pencils and light pens. But don’t think I’ll be buying Moleskines again after this lot. The page bleed through on my pigment liners makes these borderline unusable, with my Rotring's it's even worse. Either go to a substantially thicker gsm version, or get a Leuchtturm1917 where even my rotring's don't bleed through. -NZ
