You need to buy a hard drive separately
Looks easy enough to use. Does not come with a sata hard drive. You will have to get a sata hard drive separately.

All good except for one quirk
I am writing with the March VIGI NVR1016H(UN)_V1.20_1.0.4 Build 240119 firmware update which may address issues mentioned by other reviewers. The first thing after installing the hard drive, turning on and following the setup wizard is to do a firmware update - the mobile app will not connect until you do. The app picked up the NVR and I prefer it the the Hilook I used before. The only niggle with the app is I can't see how to have a live preview of, say 4, cameras at once. I have Starlink and the app was able to work remotely fine. I have used, and still got, two NVRs, a XVision and Hilook. They are ok but each have different issues. For the most part the TPLink overcomes them. There is no cooling fan, so considerably quieter, with only the whirring and clicks of the hard disk. The case remains almost cold. Not had many issues finding my way around the menus, but then I've had two previous NVRs. One thing caught me out, the video length. I could not easily find how to change how long to record for once motion was detected. On the menus it is called "Delay"! The cameras I have are three different brands but Onvif found them and connected fine. I've not seen it struggle serving my six cameras images but then they are not 4M cameras. You can change most setting via a browser, but not all. I noticed the motion sensitivity is not on the browser page but you can change it on the NVR itself. So why three stars? Well I found that when setting the detection area for motion detection, on some cameras it was not saving. I thought it was because I was using the browser (I find using the browser access easier). I tried on the NVR itself and initially it appeared to work. I would save the layout, move away and back again and the changes were there (on the browser they would "reset" randomly), but I found that when I rebooted, the three troublesome cameras layout s had reset. I have raised a ticket with TP-Link and update if/when I hear back - I hope there is a fix as I would like to keep this device. UPDATE: Seems two very old XVision IP cameras are not happy. I suspect the ONVIF version is too old or faulty. Both were going to be replaced as they were sluggish and had a red tint (IR filter stuck down?). Using two Annke C500's and all is well. The motion detection layouts now save and stay saved :-) So 4 stars - 1 star lost due to weird wording for recording times, a delay between logging in and seeing the first screen, and a delay when adding each camera to live (not critical for me as I use the app which I like)

Como eu efetuo a troca? O meeu NVR esta desligando sozinho, ja troquei de tomada.. mas o NVR é muito bom… só esse detalhe não sei se pode ser a fonte.

I used it with my reolink POE cameras which already connected to my POE switch. Worked flawlessly and I can access the cameras remotely using the VIGI app. Excellent product. Recommended

I recently upgraded my home security from TP‑Link Tapo to the TP‑Link Vigi range, and the experience has been excellent. The installation process was straightforward, and connecting the cameras to the system was surprisingly quick. Everything synced without any hassle, and the overall setup feels more professional and robust compared to the Tapo lineup. A solid upgrade for anyone looking to step up their home security.

The TP-Link VIGI NVR1016H specifications are excellent, but unfortunately, there are counterfeit (fake) units being shipped. The unit I received is NOT original. Please check these points when you receive yours: Verify the serial number with TP-Link. Check the build quality and packaging. I am returning this unit immediately as it does not match the official product description. Buyer beware.
