Really strong and versatile, does the job! We haven't managed to break it digging in hard ground.

Bought it for the kids as part of a metal detecting kit I put together for them. Its a lump of metal with some cord wrapped for the handle. Its not going to break anytime soon. It has some weight to it, without being heavy like a small shovel.Its been put to service a few times and worked well.

When it arrived I was reallly impressed with the quality of it I ordered on the review if others, having a case with it makes it also very handy along with the paradors, very useful and practical multi tool. Bought this as a birthday gift for a friend that likes going metal detecting, they were really impressed with it and find it very useful during their metal detecting activities. This is a very sharp, strong & handy tool for gardening, camping & metal detecting. The only down side is if you're using it for digging out strong roots the squareed open end of the handle can be at bit hard on your hand, but we'll worth the price

I use this all the time when I'm metal detecting and it is so easy to carry in the supplied holster on my 'finds' bag belt. It cuts through small roots with the serated edge and I can dig quite deep with ease. All I needed and a good price. Would definitely buy again or recommend.

This is my second one of these (lost the first) it's a great tool, not weighty and so versatile, I'm going to change the cord to a bright orange so I don't lose this one!

Glad I bought this , Strong and nice to use, Really wish they were made in brighter colours , just can't understand why everything has to be camouflaged or black making them difficult to find in the mud

I use this has a hand digger whilst metal detecting... very good product for the money... although it could do with a bright fluorescent handle as it's easily blends in with the grass... sheath it a bit cheap/naff
