My son plays this video game and I recognized the character. I ordered it as a surprise for him. Even though he is 19, he really likes it and uses it. The box it is packaged in is really colorful. He kept the box and put it on a shelf in his room next to his Pop figures. As you can see from the video it does change colors. It changes slowly between black and yellow. The cup is made from average material and it is a normal size coffee cup. The novelty aspect is definitely the character and the color changing effect. Both went over so well with my teenager that I must recommend it!
