Good gift
I bought 2 different ones for my 2 granddaughters for xmas last year and they started on them right away. Ages 11 and 8. They worked on the blankets for a few days here and there. They had fun and seemed to like their creations. The girls do a lot of crafts. And enjoyed the one.

Count the squares before you start putting together!!
We were excited to get this blanket kit! We started putting together and when we got to the last strip there was a block missing. We were so disappointed!!

Great kit!
This kit was well executed. All the pieces are prepped well, the instructions are very clear and helpful, and it seems to be good quality. Our only complaint was the instructions say to make sure the "fuzzier" side is up but it's incredibly hard to tell which side is the "right" side on many of the pieces, though it doesn't seem to matter much to the construction of the blanket. It seemed like an asinign detail to include given how subtle of a difference it truly was, especially if you have a kid who gets caught up in details like that.
