Hi, I have the full nativity scene from Willow Tree and I can assure you the dog doesn't look out of place. In fact this year I have the nativity scene taking centre stage and all my other ornaments are part of the scene as onlookers. hi all the willow tree figures are in muted colourings, and not start blacks and white. this applied to the figures and the pets, so they do NOT sella jet black dog, this dark dog is soft brown colour and is to represent a dark or back coloured dog. the muted colour pallet is what makes Willow Tree figures most distinctive.

I ordered the dark figurine sitting up and you sent me the small lying down one not impressed

If you have a Labrador, get this, FANTASTIC

Great. Looks so much our old boy " Bailey " who had to be put down due to health problems.Now we have a new boy in our house " Buddy " Chocolate Labrador same as Bailey.Just looking at the figurine reminds us of Bailey RIP.All in all , well pleased.

Bought to represent our black Labrador tomato beside another Willow Tree, this is lovely - not to big, and well proportioned. Possibly slightly closer to chocolate brown than a light shade of black, but still lovely.

Beautiful piece of art

This a typically beautiful piece of work from Willow Tree, it is beautifully crafted. My only dislike is that Willow Tree have never depicted a black dog in any of their pieces. This is a lovely gift gor self or a Labrador owner, There is a yellow and choccie colour. Be aware that it is not a large piece.
