A great gift for a young man who likes knives but never put one together. Quality seems great, the parts are well made and appearance is nice. The attached instructions will make a fun little project that will holefully yield a useful tool to be carried in adventures for years to come. Looks like he going to try another knife assembly in the future with more complexity so all in all - a great success.

For the price, it is a quality kitchen tool. I can see places to use it while camping and hunting.

All that was missing was the epoxy for gluing the wood to the blade, but the epoxy was never intended to be in the box. This was my first attempt at “making” a knife. I didn’t own a belt sander, but I do have some files and an orbital sander. Once the handles were glued on and set up it was fairly easy to file down to the shape I wanted. I was pleased with the results and bought a belt sander for my next knife project
