Fantastic item for a very reasonable price

The microscope is a good child's introduction to a multi-lens microscopic world but is rather more a toy than a frequent use instrument.The focus is such that the lenses have to be almost touching the slide for the subject to be defined and there are slight differences in alignment of the 3 lenses on the turret, no matter how careful you are in rotating and stopping them, such that you have to realign the slide slightly for each one. Obviously the field of view is quite restricted.My (clumsy) 7 year old granddaughter uses it quite capably though and so ease of use is good. She enjoys the unfolding of miniature secrets of nature.

Fab great good for children learning qauilty product no issues

Bought for a grandchild and the light did not work. It was returned to me to send back. Ordered another identical one, price had gone up and the light was faulty on this one too. It is now being returned and will not be placing another order.Clearly no quality control for this item.

Alot smaller than it appears in the pictures and also very very light so not very sturdy. Found it quite hard to use so not really appropriate for the ages range advised. Overall was very disappointed when my son opened this on Christmas Day.

Great Christmas present for inquisitive young minds. Comes complete with small tool kit. Good value for the money.

First and foremost, it's important to keep in mind the price of this product before being too scathing in this review - as ultimately it is priced perfectly for a children's toy. With that being said, this product is almost concerningly light, some caution must be exercised when using this as it would be extremely easy to knock over.The focus and clarity of the lenses is quite good. You can easily zoom in further than the eye can see, well maybe my eyes. I think there is some argument to be made about the educational value of this product, as you could run some small experiments to introduce your child to science - but don't expect a lab-grade piece of kit for the price.

The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical due to some negative reviews bit I thought to give it a chance. For the price, it does exactly what you'd want it to and more. 1200x is a bit fiddly but if you take your time to figure it out, it's incredible. Very happy
