The best iron I've ever owned, and the cheapest.
I left my partner to order me a new iron and was a little concerned that he was not willing to spend a lot of money on it. However, it may be the cheapest iron I've ever owned, but it is the best iron I've ever owned. Give him his due, he did do his research and this iron did have the best reviews in it's price range and I can see why. It is lightweight, which I thought meant it wouldn't iron as well however it irons beautifully. Heats up very quickly and irons clothes and bedding with ease. It's easy to use and to be my delight, when I have it on high steam it doesn't dribble water out everywhere which my past irons have done.

Great iron, easy to use, large water tank and long flex.
I was very pleased to find this iron as an excellent replacement for my previous Tefal ultraglide which I've had for over 10 years. It is reasonably lightweight, heats up quickly and the difference in the cool and hot settings is noticeable. Water tank is quite large so even with steam facility you don't have to refill often during a huge ironing session. The flex is very long which would be helpful if your plug socket isn't as close as you would like it to be. Great iron at a very good price.

Light, effective iron with safety cut-out.
This iron is more light-weight than I'd expected. I prefer a solidly heavy-weight iron, at least I'm holding onto that notion for as long as I can. However for anyone seeking a non-heavy but brilliant iron this would be the one! It is very stable when sitting upended on its erm, back side, it does not wobble or topple at all. It irons very effectively, I think by using major steam power (just have a top-up jug to hand if doing lots of ironing), which is no problem & offsets the lighter weight. The dial is clear, comprehensive and easy to use, although I would like a linen setting - I'll just use the very top cotton one when we get to summer. It has a cord clip - yay! I LOVE the cut-off feature and don't understand why all modern irons don't have this - very reassuring if like me you're frequently troubled by "did I leave the iron on?" doubts (my mind is usually elsewhere concentrating on other matters besides ironing). The soleplate is a lovely quality ceramic non-gunky type and it irons around buttons really well.

light and easy to use
This is an excellent iron, the flex is nearly twice as long as my last iron, it has more steam than my last iron and the base glides easily over wrinkled clothes. Is the water tank smaller than my last iron? I don't know, but I have noticed that it needs filling up several times during a typical ironing session. So the tank is either smaller or the iron makes a lot of steam. I love it.

Great iron, smooth and cost effective - but it!
Very good iron! Our trusty Tefal just started dripping after 5 years so we had to replace it. I researched like mad and was nearly tempted to splash out nearly £100 for a cordless iron, then almost the same for an iron that automatically detected the fabric and set the temperature accordingly. I bought this iron because; 1. It was as close a match to the iron we'd been using for year, 2. The price was sensible and 3. We are never in any doubt what it's going to do (all settings manual and cabled). I have to say, we're not disappointed, far from it, this iron is great. It irons very smoothly, carries plenty of water and makes easy ironing of some really awkward shirts and tops (why are women's tops so hard to iron?).

A quite good iron with some drawbacks
When this iron is set on the top heat max steam it produces a lot of steam and irons very well. However, the iron keeps steaming strongly for a couple of seconds when lifted from the fabric. That makes the room a bit sauna like after a relatively short ironing session. There should be lower levels of steaming but they don't seem to operate reliably, at least on my iron. Also, I have not found the handle very comfortable because the steam boost button is underneath the most natural place to hold it, meaning either using it with a light grip or holding it further back at a less ergonomic angle. However, it looks from other reviews as though that is not a problem that others have had.

Its a great little iron
Bought this new iron as my old Tefal iron was starting leaking. Its a great little iron, steam is really powerful and does the job. I will only buy Tefal's irons and this iron is as good as the other ones I bought before and good value for money. Also it is very light and the water tank is big, so no need to refill every 5 mins.

Very good iron
Have used this for the first time today after having my old iron for over 20 years. Very impressed. Read the instructions properly before use which helped. Amazing amount of steam. Extra long cord made ironing much easier. No effort at all on bedding glided through in no time at all. Will need to practice on lower temperature items as settings very different to my old iron but that's down to me not the iron. Love it!!!!
