Vera Wang for Wedgwood Designer Baby Music Box Silver Plated Christening Gift

so pleased with this beautifull music box, its just the job for my great nieces Baptism, its not very big but its perfect just right and the box it comes with makes just a great little gift.

Bought as a christening present. Bit disappointed that it is not a box. Basically it is just an ornament and a rather overpriced one at that - presumably because it has the Vera Wang endorsement. But the baby's mummy loves it and I am sure it will make a very pretty dressing table ornament for the little girl when she is a teenager.

For a christening gift, and sold as such, I was disappointed how marked the box is. I’ve had to get the jif scrub to get rid of some scuffs. The music box itself was a bit dusty but otherwise perfect. Quick buff and all sorted!The music box itself is a lovely heavy weight, feeling substantial and a good quality.The music played is (I think!) Brahms Lullaby but...it only plays the first line, then pauses and repeats that first line, not the whole lullaby. I only tested it to check it worked and that drove me crackers. The quality of the sound is very good, but what a shame they couldn’t put the whole verse on, like every other music box that has this lullaby on that I’ve ever come across before.

Bought for my goddaughter's christening, this is a beautiful item that feels good and looks great. Had a good weight to it which adds to the sense of quality of the item.

Looked fabulous but sounded pathetic. The tune played badly and it was barely audible. Sent it back.

Most people expect a high standard for designer items. This item does not meet expectations.The main purpose of this item is to be a music box, not just to look nice. Yes the item is a beautiful, heavy, cushion love heart that would look nice on top of a dresser but for those who are classical music fans or anyone who appreciates a full song played, this music box plays the beautiful Brahm's Lullaby but... only half the song before repeating again.I chose this item for a pianist mother but decided to return it as half a song just won't cut it. Expected more for Vera Wang...

As adorable as on the pic, can be hold in the palm of one hand. Very elegant and nice music box. Perfect as a gift.
