Q: The handles appear to be very low. Do your knuckles graze the stove? What is the logic behind this handle design?

Thank you for your inquiry. The fry pan has a depth of 3.2 inches and the handle does have a slight curve to it. I personally use this fry pan and have never had a burn.

I love this pan, its so beautiful and easy to use. it looks very elegant. Stainless steel base is easy to use, heat it up well, water starts to move like mercury and fry steak. just perfect.
