20 x Lakeland StayFresh Longer Vegetable Storage Bags, 28 x 46cm

These bags are great. Have been buying them for years. Definitely keep fruit and veg fresh for much longer than other containers or bags. They honestly double the shelf life for some things. I grow veg so always have lots in the fridge and these help me avoid wasting things as they don't go off or wilt as quickly. I wash and reuse the bags - just put some water and a tiny bit of Fairy in the bag, then rub together and rinse. Dry upside down in the drainer or peg out on the line. I must use each bag 50+ times before they rip or have to be replace so actually very economical. Both saving you money on food and bags.

Been using these from Lakeland for years & they are a godsend! They definitely keep your salad stuff & veggies fresher for longer, I transfer all my items straight into these bags as soon as I bring my shopping home before I put it in the fridge & my peppers, lettuce, carrots, radish etc can all last a month in these bags easily! They may seem expensive but you can also reuse them too. Great performance, great sizes, easy to clean, keeps your salad & veggies moisture free!

I'm quite cynical but I decided to try these although they appeared expensive, I think they're well worth the expense, they've kept berries, cucumber & cabbage really fresh for much longer. I will now invest in some smaller ones, as these are large. I recommend.

I tried several different ways of storage strawberries but aways had to throw a few out. In these bags they stay good until the end. Carrots/celery stay firm and fresh too. I just wash the bag afterwards, dry it and re-use.

I’m not convinced by this product as first time using I followed instructions and washed veg (mushrooms) before putting in a bag. Resulting in a yukky mess a day or so later. Then used for salad leaves and not too bad but its very difficult to remove all the air as the bags don’t have a ziplock on them or ties. Would I repurchase? Probably not as they’re costly and not completely effective.

Didn't expect these to be much better than a plastic bag, but they are. Lettuce and cucumber are now 11 days old, sealed in the bag and in the salad drawer. Not a bit of brown on the lettuce and the cucumber is a firm as the day I brought it. Oranges, in the bag, on the work surface are keeping well. The bags are reusable,,so should save money as far less wasted food.One complaint. I expected bag closures to be included, which would have been nice, but still give star rating.
