JPS Hebrew-English TANAKH Imitation Leather – Student Edition, 1 Jan. 2001

I bought this because I wanted to keep up with my Biblical Hebrew, and having the English translation side-by-side would motivate me to read the Hebrew Bible for my quiet time without the hassle of having to constantly look up a separate English Bible. I like it that the font size is fairly large (I think bigger than the BHS), although this does mean that it is quite heavy to carry around. I like it that there are some footnotes as well as showing the ketiv/qere. I highly recommend this for those who are learning Biblical Hebrew!

Its great for studying

This is exactly what I was looking for: The most academically sound translation of the Tanakh! It has everything you'll be looking for: The Hebrew text, the English text, numerous footnotes, everything. You can't get much better than JPS's work! Strongly recommend for anyone: Hebrew learners, English religious folk, or simply someone interested in the most impactful book in world history. Thanks much!

English and hebrew Tanakh. Very useful, good to read

I'm really not sure what else can say not already said before. This is a really nice publication of the Tanakh, perfect for studying scripture and at a very fair price in my opinion.

lovely book but i did expect a larger print

I like the challenge to read backwards different saying in some cases with the buy
