Dometic 9108557677 Portable Toilet, Grey

I bought this toilet for use in my art studio, which doesn't have mains sewerage. I was used to chemical loos having been a motorhomer for years, although my previous experiences were with electrically powered ones. This is manual, but works fine. It is easy to set up, easy to use and keep clean, and I thoroughly recommend it for occasional use.

Looks made with the thought of functionality and quality in mind, only time will tell to reveal its durability and longevity, especially today with most plastics for these types of products being below standard for the application required. Hopefully, durability is on par with the design aesthetics.

Bought this to put in my camper van but found it was too big to fit in the cupboard provided so I had to buy a separate tent for it. Not a problem though, it's a very sturdy portaloo and not too low. The seat does however seem a little flimsy. The only problem was that it arrived without two screw on caps, one for the upper tank and one for the lower, without these it was unusable. I emailed the seller with photos to show what was missing and they sent the missing parts the next day, so well done to them. Once the loo was complete it worked perfectly. You will need to buy the special toilet roll and the appropriate fluids to put in it but these are freely available.

This works fine (its great to be able to pull over anywhere) but my previous one started leaking at the main seal when carried. In hindsight I should have kept it greased with silicon grease which I will do with this one. I am hoping that silicon grease may fix the old one in which case I will give to my daughter for when she takes her family camping

I got this as we are having a complete bathroom refurb. It is easy to use and clean...very handy for emergencies

hi, bought this to go in our shower room,( main bathroom is downstairs) to help to teach our 4yr to go the toilet during the night instead of wetting himself. came assembled and the instructions on how to take apart when emptying where very clear, the toilet itself is quite sturdy and just the right height to be sat on aswell, If there is a downside i cant find one, overall an excellent little toilet. DONT FORGET TO GET THE REQUIRED SANITISER CHEMICALS FOR THE WASTE TANK AND THE FLUSH.

As the title says: Lose connection on the flush pump leaked - not a big issue as its only clean water but it was still wet when you pumped it. Ensure to tighten it up properly. Something I couldn't do when camping as I didn't bring any tools.It's fine now though and it's generally well build, solid, easy to clean and fill.Would have been 5 stars except for the leak.

My wife insisted on getting this before a new camping season began! I was less than enthusiastic but it actually turned into an essential especially on a cold weekend away! No more midnight dashes to the loo or bushes! Easy to maintain, clean and clear! Great price!
