Wonderful beach shoes for water and sand

I ordered the women's 8.5 in the solid black for someone with an average foot width and arch height, usually an 8-8.5 U.S. shoe size or Eu 39 and the fit is perfect. Though I wouldn't use these for extremes, for general use these are just as or even more comfortable than some of the best known minimalist shoes that cost many times more. I purchased these for someone with balance and sensory difficulties who needs a zero drop (flat) shoe with a lightweight, exceptionally flexible sole that allows sensing good contact with the ground. There is just enough cushioning to feel protected from a gritty or rough surface without losing a good sense of variations in walking surfaces. This sole combined with the very stretchy and snug fabric upper meets those needs while the natural toe shape allows enough toe spread for grip and balance. The lightly reinforced heel cup gives it a bit of stability without digging in to the ankle. The contours of the edges along the sides of the soles lend just enough support without being restrictive to literally pull it all together into an incredibly snug and comfortable shoe. I tried these on and, with or without the removeable insoles or adding additional insoles, they're so light and oh so joyfully easy to move, walk or dance around in that I don't know if I'll be able to resist getting one or more pair of these for myself! The bright colors and prints on the uppers with color splashed soles are fun for beach, party and pool while more choices in some more subdued patterns or solid neutral colors on both uppers and soles would be welcome for other casual wear. This solid black pair strikes me as sleek enough that it could be passable for all but very formal or dressy uses.. and the crazy crafter in me is already imagining fun ways they could be embellished with some faux rhinestones, beads, bows or appliques :)

Love these water shoes. They're more durable than the ones you buy at Walmart, Meijer, etc. They don't look like boats on your feet either. Makes your feet look more petite. I don't get any rocks in them at the beach...a little sand creeps in but nowhere near the amount as the store bought shoes do. The soles are thick enough so the rocks don't hurt when you step on them. Well worth the money. I would buy again.

So far so good, it has last longer than the other ones I have bought. Material is not ripping like others and that extra rubber edges is holding.

I purchased this for use when by husband and I go boating. The shoe is lightweight but offers great protection for the bottom of your feet and toes. It fits true to size and looks appealing when you wear them. I have not tested mine in the water yet, but I do recommend them as a comfortable shoe option.

These were super affordable, so I have to keep my expectations in check. So far they've worked great, keeping my feet from getting cut up on rocks while walking in creeks. They are also tight enough around the ankles to keep out sand. Love it! The only downsides were that the insole did come loose and start sliding around after the first wear. Glued it down with some shoe glue though, and they're good as new. After the third time, I noticed some wear where my big toe nail rubs against the top and it's wearing thing. That may just be due to fit on me though. Still, for the price, I'd recommend them. Just maybe not for heavy duty everyday use.

I'm in between a 10 & 11 women's, so I expected the size 11 to be a bit roomy. The elastic laces with adjusting clip tighten enough to make a secure fit that doesn't slide. Just tuck the excess elastic through the bottom laces so it doesn't flop around. I bought a cheaper pair last summer & popped a hole in the toe within a couple of weeks. With this new pair, I've been hiking, camping, and swimming with these bad boys and haven't shown any signs of wear or tare yet. I highly recommend for fellow adventurers on a budget.

Very good quality. A little bit bigger than i expected but still a good fit. You won't be sorry!
