Pimpernel Botanic Garden Placemats, Set of 6, 30.5 x 23cm

Portmerion doesn't disappoint when it comes to quality. As always, this is a good quality product with nice designs on each placemat. I bought these for my father to replace the previous set which has been in daily use for the past 9+ years. The placemats are hard wearing and look bright and cheerful on the table. They protect the table from scorch marks and look good as well. Would recommend.

Have bought these before (Over 10 years ago) so I know they last. Don't submerge in water but clean with a slightly damp cloth though. Very pretty design.

Sono sei tovagliette che possono fare svariati usi: sotto sono di sughero e si possono utilizzare come sottopentola, dicono che sopportano il calore fino a 110°, ma io ci ho appoggiato teglie appena uscite dal forno a 220° senza problemi. Inoltre sulla tavola della colazione sono perfette e allegre, attenzione perché la misura è adatta giusto per la tazza e un piattino e il barattolo della marmellata, per il pranzo è necessaria la misura più grande. Si passa una spugnetta umida per pulirle senza difficoltà. Soggetti floreali bellissimi! Molto consigliate, spedizione Amazon impeccabile nonostante il pacco fosse affidato alle Poste Italiane....

The coasters are lovely and well made

They have a back on them that keeps them in place. I was able to set space for 11 guests at my table that seats 8. They work well with my Lenox Butterly Meadow dishes. They would be even better with a clear glass set of dishes so the placemats show through. They are a little thick and the tops are slightly slick. Easy peasy cleanup.

We purchased these placemats with the idea that they were a long standing Quality British product only to be very disappointed to find out they were made in china. 3 weeks after started using them we noticed oil stain under the surface, this was no supposed to be like that, we initially thought ok we'll try the soapy warm water to see what happens, then we started seeing more oil marks. So very disappointed, we are not able to clean these oil stains off and the placemats look cheap.
