Works really well. I tried a cheaper detector but it was very hit and miss finding the wooden batons in the stud wall.

Part of a Christmas present so not used yet. Look very sturdy & of good quality.

I bought few wall scanners from 35 pounds to 150. This one is one of most reliable, accurate and cheap scaner ever bought !!! As electronic and builder, I really recommend this device.

Was very disappointed with this product it does not work very unreliable and when I went to send it back I couldn't find anyone with a printer so now I'm stuck with it at some point it's going to go in the bin when you flip it over to the electric cable detector you put it on a wall and it just beeps the whole time even in places where I know there's no cable when you put it over a socket it won't beep at all I have probably got a duff one it was the worst £50 I have ever spent

i find it difficult to use... it keeps beeping all the time.

Very accurate and easy to use. Tested it on wood studs behind 1/2 inch drywall. I love how you can disable the beeping sound for electrical detection. Highly recommend this stud finder.

I just learned of FNIRSI a couple weeks ago from an ad for a cordless soldering iron. While browsing their site, I saw that they made a number of devices, including this stud finder. Not that my old ones don't work per se, but they're strange about batteries, and a little finicky especially on studs that aren't directly behind the drywall, (such as framing in the garage that has a layer of foam insulation between the drywall and framing.) I've tested this in a number of different scenarios and it's been dead on every single time, at about a third of the cost of my "high end" finder. I'm anxious to try some of their other offerings as they're all affordably priced. This even came with a case which none of my others included!
