This is high quality, beautiful and comfortable leather. As with any pouf, you have to fill it with old clothes, sheets or rags and it will be lighter or heavier depending on what you fill it with. It is sturdy and well made, with strong stitches. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a quality leather ottoman. Not only is this high-quality, but it is also made by the Cooperative Bohemia Marrakech, a group including 32 young women and men, some of the women are single mothers, who have never attended school, or are physically challenged, some are educated, but cannot find work. This group makes handmade products, including rugs, Moroccan poufs, straw bags, and other leather products. They give training to abandon women and give them a chance to help their families and send their children to schools. I do not have anything negative to say about this product, but the buyer needs to know that they will have to provide their own filling.

Worked awesome and great quality

I love this ottoman! It is nice, soft leather, and the seams look well made. I use it with my favorite reading chair in my study. It looks great and makes my chair sooo comfortable. Unlike other leather ottomans I have tried, it does not slide across the rug when I put my feet up on it; I think the seams help it to stay put. It arrived very fast, and it came with a nice little note from the seller, explaining who they are. They are a group of associations in Marrakesh that employ women who might otherwise be unemployed, and they make a variety of crafts. It's nice to know that I am buying from actual human beings, not a corporation. Overall, great product and great seller!

Please note that this does not come stuffed. And it takes a lot to stuff it so that it’s firm enough to actually sit on. I stuffed it with three old bed pillows, several block pieces of foam, bubble wrap from packaging and some old clothing. And it’s still a bit squishy. And I only weigh 105 pounds. I would t advise anyone heavier than me to sit on it. But for using as an ottoman to put your feet in — which is what I use it for — it works fine. It had a strong smell from what I assume to be leather tanning chemicals, but after a few days the smell had greatly dissipated. Overall, I really like it and am glad I bought it. Besides, I have something to do with all that bubble wrap now!

Beautiful color, well-made, with that luscious leather smell. Excellent product for the price.

I really like this ottoman/poof. I know some of the other folks have said it’s like a bottomless pit to fill but I bought a pack of throw pillow inserts that matched the dimensions and filled it right up. It’s very comfortable. I will say that it does need a little bit of air out time, but nothing too bad.

Product was received in good condition and on time. It does not come stuffed. I went to my local W$#&@#t and purchased six $5.00 sleeping pillows. It did the trick, stuffing them lengthwise. It is very comfortable for feet or to sit on. So far so good :)
